Tomato basil special was divine
Finally made my way to Lisbonata in Brooklyn, a spot I’ve been wanting to try for a while because I’ve been craving their pastel de natas! I was especially excited to check out their weekly limited-edition flavor: Earl Grey and also got their Pistachio Cream, Salted Caramel, Yuzu, and Belgian Chocolate flavors.

Creative and rotating soft serve sundae kept calling me back. The line could be long sometimes but I won’t mind to wait a bit for their ice cream!

Lisbonata is an amazing place, highly recommended. It is a gorgeous physical shop, previously a stand at the Fort Green market. The Portuguese egg tarts are sublime and warm, with a light dusting of cinnamon, a crispy, flaky crust, and sweet custard filling. The pistachio is a favorite classic. The quality of products is always top top, and the owner works day-to-day. It is not authentic to the original nata in Portugal but close enough, more of a fusion concept. Definitely eat it right when you get it. Some prefer them cold, while directions for warming exist. A little pricey but worth it as a once in awhile treat. There is an awning with tables but no indoor seating.
