I went to Los Tres Potrillos and was hoping to get vegan Tacos. They didn’t have vegan and the waitress wasn’t helpful with vegan options, though she was nice. She said that if I can say how they could make it, they will do it. I asked if they can add beans and nopales. No Nopales. Lettuce and tomatoes and beans she said. Okay. This unassuming place on a busy avenue surprised me with the quality of the food and excellent service. I stopped here for lunch with a friend because we were hungry and it was close to where we were. The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff was friendly and helpful when trying to choose off the menu, I will definitely go back, but this time I will seek it out! The tacos al pastor were over top fantastic, and the burrito with carnitas was one of the best I've ever tasted....read full review

Authenticity is what this place is all about. The young waitress was spot on with the service from the minute I walked in. While this is a local place and there's no fancy bells and whistles, the authentic food and prompt service will top any fancy decor of a place that lacks. This will be my go-to for a delicious meal when in town.
