Maya Taqueria of Park Slope is a local go-to for authentic and fresh Mexican food. The food is always delicious and never disappoints. The birria is to die for, the mole is very tasty, tamales are top notch, and the pozole is like home. A large order for delivery included 6 birria tacos, a super burrito with cilantro rice, black beans, and carne asada, chips and guac, 2 chile verde tamales, 2 chicken mole tamales, and corn pancakes. This fed 6 people perfectly. The steak fajita platter has a solid portion size with well-seasoned steak, cooked down peppers and onions, rice, black beans, and warm tortillas. Super nachos and birria burrito are so good, and the salsas are self serve. The space is a little crowded with not a lot of tables, but the food is excellent and worth ordering for delivery.
