I usually order pick up, do to the restaurant not being very welcoming or especially clean. Also do not appreciate the staff speaking their native language in front of customers. I do the same, and it’s almost always to talk about the customer without them knowing lol.
First time trying Popeyes in 4 years and I’m pretty impressed!! Chicken was crispy, tender, and flavorful. Not too oily as well. We got a fresh batch of chicken and the meat just falls straight off the bone :)
This location serves a tough crowd. The workers always remain professional regardless. I remember when this spot first opened and the chicken was overly salty but they have since gotten better and I visit at least once a week now. Service is fast and food is good.

Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen on 86th Street in Brooklyn is known for its fried chicken. Customers appreciate the accommodating service, such as separating spicy and mild chicken. The food is always delicious. However, there have been issues with online orders, with missing items in the delivery. Some customers may not enjoy the seasoning on the fries. The store interior is clean and the atmosphere is nice, but it looked more like a Pops Fried Chicken spot than Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen. The staff is kind and patient.
