Tacos Matamoros is a spacious restaurant with a lively atmosphere that transports you to Mexico. The interior is tastefully done, with a large area that can get lively. The service is friendly and prompt, making it a great spot for a meal. The menu offers a variety of dishes, including pork ribs, goat plates, and enchiladas mixtos, which is one of the better ones in NYC. The Al pastor tacos and carnitas are also recommended. However, the fish taco was a disappointment. The staff is professional, and the service is decent. While the green tamale was dry and overcooked, the restaurant is worth returning to for its authentic Mexican dishes.
