This was the best Chinese restaurant that I've ever been to. The food was amazing. The was super and the owner came up to us to make sure that we received the order correctly. I highly recommend this restaurant.
We had a large group so we were in the basement which also serves as the karaoke room. The food was average but the squab was above average. They seemed to be shorthanded so we had to wait longer to have dishes cleared and we refilled the tea ourselves. That's fine as the staff was hustling around serving others .They did forget one order, we reminded them,and when it came it was cooked the wrong way. The staff was courteous though thoughoutbthe night.

Uncle Foon’s Kitchen is a Chinese restaurant in the neighborhood, known for authentic Cantonese flavors and Hong Kong–style street food. The food is packed with flavor without being overly salty or oily, and every dish brings out the freshness and care in each bite. The white rice is the best rice compared to other Cantonese restaurants, and the free soup is yummy. The salt pepper squid has the right amount of crisp, juicy tender, and not oily. The vegetables are all fresh and not overcooked. The place is always packed, but the food comes out fast and consistently delicious. There is a limited promotion for lunch specials with unbeatable prices, ending on 5/16/26: two lunch boxes for $14, three for $20, or one at the original cost of $8.50. There is also no tax with cash payment. The restaurant is super clean and tidy, with super friendly and welcoming staff. Typical Cantonese family style dishes are not too salty or greasy, with actual pictures of the dishes on the wall. A must-visit for anyone who loves genuine flavors.
