Bay Leaf Restaurant Reviews
Delicious food. Convenient location.
Food is really good and comes out quick. Atmosphere's hard here with the big TV showing security. I wouldnt take a dinner date here, but I would order takeout and find a bench at a park
Food is top notch, and the staff/owners are very friendly and nice.

The Bay Leaf Restaurant offers an amazing and diverse menu of Indian and Middle Eastern dishes, including the best fried chicken around. Despite its unassuming appearance, the restaurant is super affordable and delicious, with friendly staff. It is especially renowned for its authentic Bangladeshi cuisine, such as the delectable kacchi (Lamb) biryani and morog pulao. The chicken tikka over rice is also a standout dish, though the restaurant's take on pizza is not recommended. Customers appreciate the family-run atmosphere and attentive service, often enjoying classic items like mixed gyro or chicken wraps. Recent visitors have praised the fresh fish with vegetables and white rice, describing it as delicious and well-seasoned, and highlighted the super juicy, crispy fried chicken. While the lamb biryani remains a highlight, some diners were disappointed with the butter chicken, finding it watery with tiny, shredded pieces of chicken. The garlic and butter naan received mixed reviews, but many look forward to trying snack items next time. Overall, Bay Leaf is considered a hidden gem in Buffalo, consistently offering good, fresh food with fast service.
