Café On The Avenue Reviews
We were there late morning on a Tuesday. The waitress Sharon was very friendly. We started with the coffee. It was very good and I don’t normally drink coffee. It was a cold day in December though. Went for a late breakfast with a friend and we were not disappointed by our meal. It was a little busy in there on the day we went, but the service was still quick and friendly.

Café On The Avenue is a restaurant that offers a delightful American breakfast and lunch. The café has a cozy atmosphere, with comfortable seating and a covered outdoor area. The staff are friendly and efficient, often providing little donut bits as appetizers, all made on the premises. The location may be a little out of the way for some, but it is definitely worth the trip.
The breakfast menu offers a variety of options, including a veggie skillet with pepper jack cheese, and a tuna melt. The café is open to modifying menu items and tries to make the specials relevant to local events. Customers often comment on the huge portions, crispy home fries, and the crispy breakfast quesadilla. The staff provides excellent service with a smile, and the coffee is always topped up, often with endless refills.
Many visitors feel this place has a homey, inclusive vibe where everyone is made to feel welcome, even after a long absence. The prices are very fair, and the donuts are a delicious treat, making it a popular spot for families and groups. Overall, Café On The Avenue is a hidden gem that offers delicious food, great service, and a charming atmosphere, making it a favorite for breakfast or lunch.
