“I personally love Angels Pizza in Cairo, NY. Been ordering from them for 10 years!!!! Now, don’t get me wrong there has been times an order wasn’t right, or I wasn’t happy with a meal. But!!! They have always been good to me as a customer! They will correct the issue make sure I’m happy and fed! I love that they deliver, and I also love that they are so good to local businesses with delivery! I highly recommend Angels Restaurant! And remember, always let the owner know if something isn’t appeased to your liking or you are not happy with the service! Because, he is all about correcting it and making the customer happy!! 😊😍 Which I love! Thank you Angels Pizza and Restaurant! Now, I will say the exact OPPOSITE and just DON’T with Mateo’s in Cairo, NY… it’s entirely opposing of my review. Feed ya belly here!!!”

“We ate on patio about 10 days ago. It was a meal to be remembered. Felt like Alexander the Guest ( you tube ) , swooning about taste after taste. Very well conceived dishes and great execution, careful and disciplined kitchen and clearly a first rank Chef. As it later turned out, he was a friend of a great sommelier and wine writer we met in Kinderook. No wonder. Real pro's ...and the lovely person who attended to us was just all you would ask for...our gratitude and plan to see you again in August”

“We recently visited Tannersville, New York. We had asked our Airbnb hosts to send us a recommendation for a bakery, for a cake for my son’s birthday, and I am So happy they recommended Shandaken Bake! The cake was delicious and super cute too. We knew this was a place we had to come back to - we wanted to try all the baked goods we could. We went two other days in a row, and started off the morning with the most perfect biscuits. Both were excellent, but the Cheddar + Chive Biscuit was extra special. We ended up taking other things home with us both days, and everything was fantastic - the Chocolate Chunk Cookie, the Blueberry Buckle, the Chubby Squirrel, the Chocolate Banana Bread and the Banana Cake. We can’t wait for our next visit to the area because we know there are other goodies that we still need to try. Besides the taste, quality, and presentation of the baked goods themselves, the bakery is perfectly set-up for sitting and eating or picking up. It is a very well thought out space, impeccably designed not only for functionally for food preparation and customer service, but it is also a beautiful space. You have to see for yourself. The owner also couldn’t be nicer. We really enjoyed talking to him, and we appreciate his obvious passion for what he does. Go visit Craig at Shandaken and experience a culinary delight, or two - you won’t be disappointed!”

George who runs the place is one of the friendliest people you will ever meet and gives the place a great welcoming vibe. The smoothie menu has dozens of options but our favorites are the Showtime and the Downtown Stroll. I also recommend whatever wrap they are currently offering with oyster mushrooms.”
