“I personally love Angels Pizza in Cairo, NY. Been ordering from them for 10 years!!!! Now, don’t get me wrong there has been times an order wasn’t right, or I wasn’t happy with a meal. But!!! They have always been good to me as a customer! They will correct the issue make sure I’m happy and fed! I love that they deliver, and I also love that they are so good to local businesses with delivery! I highly recommend Angels Restaurant! And remember, always let the owner know if something isn’t appeased to your liking or you are not happy with the service! “This McDonald’s location really stands out, especially because of the playground area. Not many McDonald’s still have indoor play places anymore, so it’s always great to find one that is clean, safe, and well-maintained. The playground here is a huge bonus for families — kids have a place to burn energy, and parents get a chance to relax while enjoying their meal.

The play area was spotless when I visited. No trash on the floor, tables wiped down, and everything looked like it was checked regularly. The equipment inside looked sturdy and well cared for, and you can tell the staff takes the time to keep it in good shape. It felt like a fun and safe environment for kids of all ages.

Food came out fast, fresh, and hot — exactly what you want from McDonald’s. Service was friendly and welcoming, and even with the busyness that comes with having a playground, the staff stayed on top of everything.

Overall, this is one of the better McDonald’s locations in the area. If you have kids or just want a clean, comfortable place to sit, the playground makes this spot an easy 5-star pick. Highly recommended for families and anyone who appreciates a well-run restaurant.”

“Visited Catskills for my birthday and I HAD to come here. Mainly to support a Latin modern restaurant. You have to make a reservation in advance. The ambiance and aesthetic of it gives me camp pulp fiction vibes. It was pretty late when we got here so we couldn’t see anything outside of the window which added to the vibe. We started off with mocktails, The Spice girl (deep red), which had a hibiscus pomegranate undertone. The real star was the Face Plant (green), which was more of a lime coconut flavor. Not at all overwhelming and very refreshing. They did their thing with that one! My friend and I both ordered the lamb which was good and it came with warm tortillas. The appetizers are creative. I decided to go with the Pistachio tamal per my servers recommendation and it was 🤌🏼💋. I loved it! It was streamed and not too sweet and melted in my mouth. Go here if you want to be bougie lol”

“We recently visited Tannersville, New York. We had asked our Airbnb hosts to send us a recommendation for a bakery, for a cake for my son’s birthday, and I am So happy they recommended Shandaken Bake! The cake was delicious and super cute too. We knew this was a place we had to come back to - we wanted to try all the baked goods we could. We went two other days in a row, and started off the morning with the most perfect biscuits. Both were excellent, but the Cheddar + Chive Biscuit was extra special. We ended up taking other things home with us both days, and everything was fantastic - the Chocolate Chunk Cookie, the Blueberry Buckle, the Chubby Squirrel, the Chocolate Banana Bread and the Banana Cake. We can’t wait for our next visit to the area because we know there are other goodies that we still need to try. Besides the taste, quality, and presentation of the baked goods themselves, the bakery is perfectly set-up for sitting and eating or picking up. It is a very well thought out space, impeccably designed not only for functionally for food preparation and customer service, but it is also a beautiful space. You have to see for yourself. The owner also couldn’t be nicer. We really enjoyed talking to him, and we appreciate his obvious passion for what he does. Go visit Craig at Shandaken and experience a culinary delight, or two - you won’t be disappointed!”

It was a very unique set-up and the food was nicely prepared & so fresh!!! I have to say, though, that as a wheelchair-user the creaky floor was unsettling. “We went to hike Kaaterskill and stopped here twice. Not only was the service fast and the food yummy, but they were so hospitable. The first night they helped us get oriented to the village and gave us a run down of what was open/closed/available. The second day, after a couple issues (had some hiking gear stolen), they fed us on the house. It made our day a little bit better and that’s what life is all about. Highly recommend to anyone passing through. These are some good people all around.”

“The Juice Branch has amazing smoothies, bowls and sandwiches. Everyone in our family loves eating there including our kids (who are 1 and 4). George who runs the place is one of the friendliest people you will ever meet and gives the place a great welcoming vibe. The smoothie menu has dozens of options but our favorites are the Showtime and the Downtown Stroll. I also recommend whatever wrap they are currently offering with oyster mushrooms.”
