“The Ultimate Bayside Brunch Experience! 🌟
If you are looking for the best rooftop brunch in Queens, look no further than Bourbon Street in Bayside! The atmosphere up on the rooftop is perfection—airy, vibrant, and the perfect spot to spend a Sunday. The food was absolutely out of this world! I had to try the famous Captain Crunch Chicken Fingers, and they did not disappoint. The sweet, crunchy, savory combination is pure genius. I also ordered the Belgium Waffle served with eggs exactly the way I like them and a choice of savory bacon. The kicker? The meal also comes with a generous spread of fresh muffins, bagels, fruit, and your choice of a cocktail to kick things off!To top it all off, the chocolate truffle cake was the absolute bomb. Rich, decadent, and the perfect sweet ending to an already flawless meal. The service was fantastic, and the drinks were flowing. Highly recommend this spot for anyone craving a top-tier brunch with a great vibe all under $35 for the set brunch!“

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Service from Christina!
I had an amazing experience at Captain Loui thanks to Christina. From the moment we were seated, she was friendly, attentive, and professional. She made sure we had everything we needed, checked on us regularly, and provided excellent customer service throughout our meal.
Christina’s positive attitude and attention to detail truly stood out and made our dining experience even better. She was knowledgeable about the menu, patient with our questions, and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect.
Employees like Christina are the reason customers like myself will keep coming back. She is a tremendous asset to Captain Loui and absolutely deserves recognition for her hard work and dedication. I highly recommend asking for Christina if you visit—she was amazing and definitely deserves a raise!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Thank you, Christina, for making our visit so enjoyable!“

“Without a doubt the closest cooking to remind me of home. Catfish and Shrimp pivots was amazing. Crawfish Etoufee, chicken and sausage gumbo and chicken sausage and shrimp jambalaya was spot on. I will be back to shoot a video of the location and food for my Vlog without a doubt. Was a good feeling to here the chef ask if “The Boot was in the house” being from LA it made me feel like it was home.“

“I'd recommend this place ... sort of. We chose to sit on the dining side since it was only two of us and didn't want the "show". The service was friendly and good but not overly attentive. Our drinks were very good and a fair price (we had the Oceanside Zombie but without the Sprite added). We both ordered the hibachi surf and turf (lobster and filet mignon) which came with a house salad and clear soup, both of which we really enjoyed. The filet was tasty but the pieces were cut very unevenly so some pieces were medium rare and others were close to well done. The lobster tail was very small and too salty. I would not order it again. I was completely disappointed that the veggies were drowning in teriyaki sauce. There was no indication on the menu that they are served in sauce. I typically love hibachi vegetables but I hate teriyaki sauce! They reminded me more of Chinese takeout vegetables than Japanese hibachi. The fried rice was good but not the best. It came with lots of peas and I hate peas. Another disappointment but not a surprise was they don't offer hibachi mustard sauce. Like so many other places these days they offer yum yum sauce instead which we refused because, yuck yuck. They offered us some ice cream on the house (I think because the server knew I was very disappointed about the teriyaki sauce). It came to the table in little plastic cafeteria style cups with the pull back paper top. LOL. I'm glad it did though because the top listed the ingredients and let's just say, we immediately sent the ice cream back. All in all, not the greatest hibachi experience but also not the worst. I would maybe go back for drinks and try some other menu items ... and hold the teriyaki sauce!“

“Best seafood boil I ever had.I recently tried a seafood boil at a local Cajun-style spot, and overall, it was a really fun and flavorful experience.
The seafood itself was fresh—especially the shrimp and crab legs, which were juicy and easy to crack open. The real highlight, though, was the sauce. I went with a garlic butter Cajun mix at medium spice, and it had a rich, savory flavor with just the right amount of heat. Everything comes in a bag, coated in sauce, which makes it messy but adds to the experience.
Portion sizes were decent, but the price can climb quickly depending on what you order—especially if you add lobster or extra sides. Corn and potatoes were solid additions, soaking up all that flavor.
The atmosphere was lively and a bit loud, definitely more of a group hangout vibe than a quiet dinner. Service was good overall, though things slowed down a bit during peak hours.
Overall, I’d rate it around a 4 out of 5. It’s not the kind of place you go for a light meal, but if you’re in the mood for something indulgent, hands-on, and packed with flavor, a seafood boil is definitely worth trying.“

“My first time eating seafood boil by myself and it was amazing. The seasoning was perfect, my lobster was juicy and fresh. The shrimp was clean and tender! The potatoes and corn soaked up all the buttery goodness on my plate and were so yummy! I felt like I was on a tropical beach eating the most delicious meal I’ve ever had in my life. Servers were kind, helpful, quick and attentive. Definitely would recommend coming here with a friend or a date!“
