“We booked our son’s baptism with Frank’s steaks in RVC and they are affiliated with whistle stop for the occasion cake. I was so blown away by this cake I had to come and make a review. It’s so hard to find a good sheet cake for special occasions. The flavor and texture of the cake was so delicious. We chose a chocolate mouse filling and it exceeded our expectations. The cake was so so delicious and beautifully decorated, which is also hard to come by with these types of cakes. I would definitely use them for future occasion cakes. “The food was amazing, I got the Texas Hold ‘em but with grilled chicken and they did an amazing job. They cook the chicken/bacon right in front of your eyes, plus the food tastes incredibly fresh. I recommend getting one of their panini’s, they know what they are doing and most likely what they have on the menu is a really good idea.The place has a huge drink selection on the wall, a few shelves full of chips, and the menu is incredibly easy to read and it actually includes the ingredients which you don’t see anymore nowadays.The staff was super nice and took your order quickly, somehow the (I believe manager) remembered my order (Texas hold ‘em with grilled chicken) in just three visits.Sadly soon I’ll have to leave New York and won’t be able to eat here anytime soon, but I will remember this place.“

What a deal! The shop is so quaint and they have so much to choose from. “Disappointed to find out on Easter Sunday they did not have cookies available when they opened at 9am, they weren’t available till 11am why is that? Instead they offered crookies, the latest trend cookie stuffed in a croissant. It was more croissant tasting than the cookie, taste was confusing, and I really wanted to taste more of the cookie than the buttery croissant. It’s not all that, I was underwhelmed. I had bought 4 to try since I made the trip, I was left with 2. I was so put off ( butter from the croissant was over powering) I threw them out. Odd hybrid. Just stick with your perfected creative cookie creations.“

We asked the owners to bake us cakes and cupcakes for my daughter's first birthday and my son's Baptism and both cakes were so beautifully baked, delicious and exactly what we wanted! The cupcakes are equally amazing and my absolute guilty pleasure! I even bought them for my daughter's daycare teachers and my co-workers for Mother's Day and they were a total hit every time! We also love ordering from them for birthday celebrations and 'just because'! Highly recommend! They use fresh ingredients and never disappoint! My best friend is now also hooked! Lol“
“Had coffee & tea early in the morning with a friend two days ago—fabulous tea service and the cappuccino was just right.Went back later with my son--he LOVED their chicken club sandwich. What's not to love? It was a generous portion. Plenty of chicken and amazing sauce on the side and FRESH french fries. Service was more than attentive. The waitress was lovely and when I looked up for a moment just to take in the beautiful space, a male server stepped over to see if I needed anything. Asked me if I needed lemon or honey with the tea-- that impressed me. Usually you have to ask for everything. Also lovely attention to details with the choice of dishes and cutlery and variety of cups for drinks. Lots of options for pastries as well. Will go back again this weekend for sure! Great job!“
