“This place is awesome!! We brought about 4 dozen bagels back from NY to San Diego to share with our neighbors and they were ready for our return. Also, we had Manhasset Bagels make a sandwich to take on the plane to eat on our trip home and everyone on the flight wanted that sandwich! The staff is polite, and they seem to know their customers very well. We also had a bacon, egg & cheese breakfast sandwich before heading for the airport and that was a full sandwich that tasted great! We love this place!!“
“I love the concept of this place!!Their offerings are a mash up French baked goods and desserts x Filipino twist. My family has loved their cheesecake and I’ve appreciated the flakiness of their croissants, would love some greens to go on their breakfast sandwiches tho. Please drop and pay a visit! Tucked away near the little neck LIRR station, they have a few spots for parking.“
“First time at Leonetti. Loved the place, the layout and open space of the sitting area, the way they have their cakes placed inside the fridge, not overcrowded and are able to appreciate the beauty of the cakes. Everything looked amazing and very clean. I really recommend Leonetti to anyone in the area or just passing by!“
“At first glance, you would think this shop is just a wholesaler, but to my surprise you can actually buy boxes too!! They have a wide array/variety of sweets and all of them looked heavenyl. The gentleman whowas running the place is extremely professional and helpful. He allowed me to sample 4-5 pieces of the sweet itself. I ended up buying 4 small boxes and 2 big boxes. Toally affordable priced as well! My favorite was definitely the “Mango barfi” which is a milk based sweet. I finally have a place i can go to for all my sweet needs! Especially since it is Ramadan and sweets are necessary for every iftaar.“
“Way more than just an espresso bar. They have a kitchen and bakery and all of the food and deserts are amazing. The best coffee I've ever had as well. The prices are some of the cheapest you can find these days. It's a phenomenal place in every “
“These are all my cookies i have ever gotten from crumbl. They were all delicious. Cannot eat a whole cookie in one sitting tbh but that is not a bad thing at all! That means I can savor the cookie over a period of time woo! My favs from the times I've got crumbl were blueberry cheesecake, snickerdoodle cupcake, cannoli and cinnamon square! Many awesome and yummy flavors. The store is very clean and smells of fresh cookies. Yummmm“
“This old-school Asian bakery serves some of the best sponge cakes that are, you guessed it, not too sweet. Yeh's Bakery has been a staple in Flushing for 36 years. Their Boston Cream Pie is made out of two layers of sponge cake and fresh cream, and is one of their best sellers. If you want it, make sure to come early because sometimes they sell out. It's so light and airy, so soft and fluffy, and so freaking good. Sponge cakes are already good, but sponge cakes with cream are even better. Yeh's also serves slices of some of their light, airy, and soft sponge cakes for $1.70 (sliced flavors like the green tea and vanilla, but not the strawberry or taro). Whole rolls go for $15 each. Cakes start at 8 inches with flavors including vanilla, strawberry, chocolate, green tea, taro, and chestnut. You can even make the cakes into a heart shape! For their egg tarts, their custard is very light and soft. Great for people who don't like their egg tarts too creamy or heavy! Being a Taiwanese bakery, they also sell Taiwanese pineapple cakes at $2 each with two cake rectangles inside. The next time I go to Taiwan, imma eat pineapple cakes like these everyday. Don't forget to bring cash! What we ordered: Boston cream pie $2.75 green tea sponge cake $1.70 egg tart $1.70 Taiwanese pineapple cake $2 Total: $8.15“
“My bias bakery in the area now! So glad I found them!♥️♥️♥️ I tried lot of items. My favorite bread was the ?injeolmi cream bun! Which was red bean paste with soybean-flavored cream. Moist and creamy in each bite.Croissant items were good too, but couldn’t beat my first above. Salt butter ones were good choices.Pretzel was a little bit too soft for me, but the fig and nuts cream cheese was delicious.Last but not the least, ? bingsu was amazing..! It was a little bit pricy, but a huge bowl! The milk shaved ice was sooo rich. The only thing I would critique is coffee. Good coffee bean but the cappuccino was not creamy at all. Hopefully they can improve drinks!Parking: 4 in front of the store“
“This place looks very artsy on the outside, once you step inside you feel like you’re at home with the decor. There are two self serve kiosks which are really well designed and easy to use. The food is absolutely delicious and reasonably priced! Definitely come here for authentic Korean street food.“
“Wanted a nice cup of velvety not too sweet strong coffee! Found this gem and the Lady up front so sweet! Recommended a macchiato. Got the vanilla flavor and she made it perfect! So happy found another coffee spot that is worth the beans for your bucks! And service too!“
“Goodies here are delicious. They can be just cause or a special occasion. I ordered macrons for my wedding that were amazing, they were fresh n super flavorful all guest loved them. I will continue to order and definitely refer Sweet LIL Sweets to all friends and family. Also good to know they were gluten free for my grand daughter.“
“The croffles here are really good! I really like the blueberry, Oreo, and cherry flavors! They are pretty big and the price is very reasonable! The mochi donuts are ok, I'd rather get a croffle for two more dollars. The space is pretty tight so it can't accommodate large groups unless you go to the outside seating areas. Each time I have gone the staff have been eh, lots of workers scrambling around and not being helpful, but other than that the quality of the croffles out weighs my annoyance with the staff.“
“We ordered a custom biscoff cake for my daughters birthday. The communication was great; super understanding when we had to reschedule our order to a different day last minute so A+ for service. The cake itself was absolutely beautiful and it was so moist and flavorful. Every parent at the birthday party asked where we got the cake. This is our new go to spot!“
“This place has amazing food and brings so much nostalgia for authentic Korean corn dogs, twist bread, and donuts. Service is great. I highly recommend the corn dogs and korean donuts, as well as sweet potato ball. Reserve ahead of time for pickup if you are ordering for a group.Vegetarian options: Sweet potato balls, twist bread, corn dogs“
“I loved the s’mores mochi donut. One time I went and I thought the mochi donuts were a bit oily. The last time I went it was delicious. So it might depend on the day.Update.I went back to get the s’mores mochi donut April 25 2024. The mochi donut was delicious as usual although I don’t think it needs that much marshmellow fluff on top but you can just take some off. I tried the Ube Tres leche. It was amazing!!!!! It rivals the tres leche café in Manhattan which is the best one ever. It’s seriously amazing. Musttttt try!“
“We had the best experience ever with this bakery - the cake was included in our venue pricing through this bakery, and I can definitely see why! Working with Alison to schedule and have our tasting, which was just down right fun...(because of COVID we had to take our samples home... and she loaded us up with some extras to share with friends) to showing her our vision for the cake on the day of, and then actually SEEING and EATING it at our wedding was perfect all the way through. They really incorporated everything we asked for, and it was simply delicious!!! We even asked for an extra birthday cupcake for our nephew to have on the day of the wedding, and they made it sooo cute! (wish I could figure out how to add a picture here... It was SO pretty!!!)“
“Gelato is tasty and superb . ButThe ladies behind the counter had a noticeably annoying attitude . Maybe ill give them the benefit if the doubt that it was near closing time and there was still a handful of customersJust wanted to point that out because I know businesses always strive for improvement“
“Food was amazing and the service was even better. The kind woman who served me gave me some samples of the other meats which were so delicious. The baked chicken and pork chop were falling off the bone so tender and flavorful. Tried their homemade passion fruit juice and it tastes amazing! Can’t wait to come back and try other things on the menu!“
“Ever since my sister and I found out about this place, this has been our favorite place to get some tasty cookies, brownies, and cupcakes! We can’t get enough and it’s been our go-to place when we have a sweet tooth. The ladies that work there set the atmosphere extremely friendly and homey, they are very sweet and I would recommend you try out this place. You can definitely tell when something has been made with care and love!“
“A lovely, sunny and delicious respite from the cares of the world... How wonderful to find a place that serves top notch vegan fare--both sweet and some savory offerings too. Loved the rainbow cookies, Jamaican Patty and the black cake. The layer cakes are spectacular as well. Coffee, tea, chai, cappuccino--just some of the hot drink offerings to go with your treats. The owners are most congenial and welcoming, serving you with utmost care and attention. The bakery is light and airy with several tables to dine at. Located across the street from the Glen Oaks library on Union Turnpike, there is ample street parking as well as the large parking lot located behind the bakery. There is convenient access to public transportation too: the Q36 and Q46 stop steps away. My family and I truly enjoyed our time at Rose Valley bakery and cannot wait to do so again!“
“Grew up in the Meadow when there were only a few bagel stores to pick from, yet visit from the south I always visit SantaFe and bring home a piece of LI ! Staff is always pleasant and bagels fresh. Still haven't figured out how many extra I get w a dozen but no complaints.“
“First time here with my family! Lovely place with all the sweets! Owner very friendly! We got two cupcakes, a chocolate brownie and a coconut ube cookie! Cookie not too sweet, cupcakes are delicious and the chocolate brownie definitely my favorite ^u^ Will definitely go back and try the rest of the sweets that they have!“
“I have to share my experience with the special bread we call it shoureki , We usually use it for special occasions. It was out of this world, the flavours of bread it stays not only in your mouth it follows you in your mind like you're gonna have more ,even if you have to watch out ,it is worth it, we thank you.“
“Delicious neighborhood bakery. Wish they were open daily! Placed an order on the phone with Joe a week before an event, he said I didn't need to leave a deposit. Went back the day of, the cake and pastries were ready! Amazing service! Thank you“
“I love this little Gem in town. I absolutely love this backery there isn't a thing I've tried that was not delicious. The chocolate cake was so moist and rich. And the Lemon coffee cake was amazing. The cookies are soft and fresh EVERY single time I've ordered them. But good luck scoring some they are so good they usually sell out early. This is definitely a must try.“
“Not a formal restaurant , but a great 'take out' place with authentic English pasties and pies .The owner/chef is english , and makes the food as properly crafted "across the pond" . True to form , they also sell 'biscuits and cakes' made there , also .The pizzas are an added treat , and are priced at less than $2.00/slice currently , and after 9:00 p.m. a slice is just $1.50 ! . Whole pies ? .... go there to find out the price or check the website . Limited parking out front , and across from a 'petrol' station . Antonio's ..... who'd have thought ??“
“Great local bakery. Everything is always fresh the only complaint I would have is that they are cash only and usually you will have to wait for the ladies behind the counter to finish with their phones or conversation before they acknowledge you. Otherwise the food and pastries are top notch“
“Today I purchased some cupcakes and they were phenomenal!! Highly recommend coming here for desserts. I have been wanting to try their stuff for a minute now and today I had a sweet tooth, and it was definitely exceptional. Definitely will be spreading the word and will be coming back.“
“My first time trying this place since it changed its name. We ordered tamales, tacos and a torta. Tamales taste authentic, much larger than what I’m used too, but that’s a plus. Torta had a lot of meat, very good. Tacos were also very good, and loaded with meat. I enjoyed the salsa verde and the spicy red salsa as well. I’ve been hoping for a good authentic Mexican spot in Whitestone so I don’t have to drive to College Point or Corona, so glad I gave this place another chance.“
“Anita is exceptional. Her cakes and desserts were delicious and a highlight of my sister’s baby shower. She’s professional, thorough and attentive. Anita’s email and number have a permanent home in my contacts. Do yourself a favor and book with her.“
“Been standard for years in my household to come here for birthday cakes. Nothing needs to be changed, they're doing great work without having to sling cake pops. Consistent, great quality, always experienced quick and friendly service.“
“Ordered the fresh cream cake with strawberry filling for a birthday last week- compliments all around from the guests! The delivery driver through door dash was unresponsive but I called the shop and she had a back up plan in case the cake didn’t show! Really thankful for how helpful she was!“
“Nice place, but waaaaaaaay over priced. $6 for carrots ? they're definitely taking advantage of the affluent neighborhood. Bought a small apple pie ($23) and it tasted good but it's like a jiffy pop popcorn, obnoxiously high crust so you can't cut a slice cleanly, definitely can NOT serve this to guests, impossible to plate (see pics) also a small 6" zucchini bread ($8.95) it was good.“
“Deanna made up sample cakes for my daughter’s wedding. We were blown away with the freshness and taste of these cakes.. I have never had such a fluffy buttercream in my life. Each cake was delicious and making a choice will be a tough one. I highly recommend Cestra’s Bakery. They are top notch. We will return!“
“Bring back the original yogurt with granola and berries please! The new container is smaller and has more plastic so it’s harder to mix everything. There’s also less fruit and the granola is different too! The lemon and peach infused choices don’t hold a candle to the original formula. Keep them for customers who like them AND bring back what was always selling out ?“
“Great bakery with amazing sandwiches and pastries. Now they opened a meat restaurant next door!! I took my daughter to eat at Noir last night. Was really good! The plum salad with the citrus beet dressing was amazing. Like so fresh and we couldn’t get enough of that dressing!!! And I loved the shaved fennel salad too…my daughter doesn’t like fennel so, more for me!!! We shared the schnitzel because I heard it was the best and it was so yummy! perfectly crunchy and tasty and moist. The servers were friendly and attentive. The dining room filled up while we were there, on a random Tuesday!! And everyone seemed to be enjoying. Can’t wait to go back.“
“One of the best places for cakes and muffins. We were big fan of this place since a long time and glad to come to this new store. The cakes are full of buttercream and just the right amount of sweetness. The ingredients are Halal, so quite a relief for the Muslims to eat the Mousse. Also, appreciate the blend of flavors available.I didn't like the slice of brownie as I found it very dry inside.“
“The cookies here are to die for! Surprisingly they also sell donut holes. And for the price, variety, and taste they are an absolute must! I got one of each flavor, and each one was better then the next. Like..Tim hortons and dunkin who? Hahaha. For only $15 we got a mini carrot cake, a dozen donut holes, and a large sprinkle cookie. What a deal! The shop is so quaint and they have so much to choose from. You can even get dog treats, edible cake decorations prepacked loaf cakes and cookies.Even though they take credit cards, they have an ATM inside for convenience. So if you're trying to hop on the RVC train and need cash, you can quickly open in.Parking is metered street parking. There is more parking on the one way street around the corner, if you can't find one in the front.“
“Had an amazing time there as the owner is so personable and aims to have a “small cafe in Connecticut kind of feel” which I definitely got. She really works to personalize your orders and is willing to try new recipes. I got the chocolate chip and strawberry cheesecake, apple cinnamon muffins, chocolate cupcakes, chocolate mousse, chocolate chip cookies , double chocolate cookies, and bloodies which all tasted incredible! I highly recommend anyone with a special diet whether it be gluten (which she has a separate area of the kitchen for), vegan, kosher, etc. this is your place!“
“Disappointed to find out on Easter Sunday they did not have cookies available when they opened at 9am, they weren’t available till 11am why is that? Instead they offered crookies, the latest trend cookie stuffed in a croissant. It was more croissant tasting than the cookie, taste was confusing, and I really wanted to taste more of the cookie than the buttery croissant. It’s not all that, I was underwhelmed. I had bought 4 to try since I made the trip, I was left with 2. I was so put off ( butter from the croissant was over powering) I threw them out. Odd hybrid. Just stick with your perfected creative cookie creations.“
“My sister surprised us with Patty’s Pops for our engagement party in February 2020 so when we got married in August 2021 we had to have these treats for our guests. All the desserts were beautiful and delicious and elevated our wedding to the next level.“
“Been coming here for a few years and I love this place! The staff is always friendly and their baked good are delicious! I never mind the trip even though it’s a bit far from me because it’s well worth it! Perfect to get something for any occasion or just to stop by for a sweet treat. Highly suggest trying any of their pastries with fresh fruit and cream as the fruit is always fresh and the cream is perfectly sweetened!“
“Kind of a hidden gem. Food is good. Prices are reasonable but if you're looking for something trendy this is not the place. At first glance. I don't think most people would even realize that they serve food it just looks like a small bakery. Don't let that intimidate you sit at one of the tables. Look through the menu and give the food a try.“
“Absolutely amazing! Born in New York and these are one of the best I ever had. Got to be on top of list. Their eggs and cheese with hash brown and they got turkey bacon is like crack. I get two because the line is long and the first time I had it I devoured it in 2 minutes. Waited like 40 minutes, on a Sunday at 10:30 but they got so many workers. If you’re in a rush I would order through Uber eats. It might be a little more expensive but won’t have to wait in line. They also but a ridiculous amount of cream cheese on a bagel I have to remind to put light next time. It’s enough for like three bagels. I like cream cheese but not how much they put, had to wipe almost 75 percent off with the paper.“
“Sweet (no pun intended) little bakery in Kew Gardens. The shop is not big and the selection is not huge but what they have is very good. I took home two Guava Puffs which were very good. The Crust was sweet and grumbly and it was bursting with Guava. I also took home something I had never tried or seen elsewhere. It's called French Nut. This one was filled with Apricot. Mom and I split it and it was enough to fill us up due to its richness. It was ?. The prices are very reasonable. The lady working there was very helpful and pleasant.“
“I will definitely come back and edit this review if I visit again and have a different experience. The baked goods purchased were enjoyed by my family and they had a decent selection for a smaller bakery. The atmosphere however was cold and the staff was not friendly at all. There were some preteen girls hanging out at the tables. The person helping me was more interested in making faces about every question I asked (over my shoulder with the girls) than helping me. It was a very weird experience. Not what I’m used to in present day diverse Pelham. Providing a safe space is cool but it should not become a mean girl experience towards customers. Thnx“
“Friendly staff, beautiful ambiance, and delectable desserts! Everything is very reasonably priced as well. Bought a tiramisu slice, chocolate banana pudding & chai- absolutely delicious! Not even vegan but would definitely come back here again ?“
“My mom put me on to this place. It's in the neighborhood. Today I brought bae for a breakfast sandwhich even though it was already afternoon. Hey, breakfast is ok anytime of the day. I like this neighborhood spot. Definately a good place for a bacon egg and cheese, salt pepper and ketchup on a roll. Bae got an egg and cheese butter and mayo. As she likes itI like when bae orders what she wants. They got everything here. Get some pastries too. To go too. Liek theybsat "Anything else?" "Algo mass?"They have a big selection of Latin origin food and treats. Head over there for some empanadas. Lotz of variety all fresh“
“Elegant & upscale bakery ??Buttercooky has many high caliber offerings from donuts, croissants, tarts, & sandwiches. How to decide when so many items look so very delicious?I settled on a broccoli egg croissant tart ??. Rich & decadent. I wanted another…Awesome venue with comfortable leather bench seats. Plenty of sunlight radiating through. I can easily sit here for an hour.Very friendly staff. Nice setup with complimentary self service lemon water. It’s no wonder they have been in business since 1962. My only gripe is I did not see a price list or tags for the pastries. Did I overlook it?“
