My family tried: Ube, Hot Cousin-Peach Cobbler, Butter Rum Apple, Caramel Toffee, Cherry Amaretto, and Strawberry. My favorites were Caramel Toffee and Cherry Amaretto and my husband loved the Hot Cousin and Cherry Amaretto! An absolute must try!”

Drinks: For truly authentic margaritas, your favorites and more you can never go wrong. The best part about this place is their obvious commitment to excellence, and dedication to their customers' experience. My favorite part: They have so many gluten, dairy free and vegan options. For authentic and absurdly delicious Mexican fare, this alone truly sets them apart. And their options continue to expand! I have a problem with tolerating a lot of unusual ingredients and they even go out of their way to omit garlic and onion in my dishes. (You can imagine the extra burden on the restaurant and my simple ask of the possibility led to them always going out to their way to make sure my orders are gluten, dairy, onion and garlic free (and still just fricking amazing, 2 extra meals in leftovers). Their social media director (?) Is brilliant, and all their events, social engagement are impressive and I'm just thrilled to have this gem of an establishment here to patronize.”

“I love the service. The food is ALWAYS delicious. I’m a sucker for their omelettes. I love a good window seat and to write while I’m there. It’s always clean and everyone is friendly and I love watching all the families and regulars come in with their kids or grand parents. The coffee is good. The parking is endless and they have a ramp for anyone needing the use of it. Desserts galore in tall fridge as soon as you walk in — you can always grab that to go after you finish your meal. Large portions. Excellent prices. I love the place!!”

“So, this PR girl asked where I could get a good Reuben. 5 people recommended Illusive. You'd never know it was there unless you looked for it. Boy, was I not disappointed. The best Reuben I've ever had. Bought 3 to share with building managers. I'm sure they will also start going too.”

From the time we called for a reservation, right through dinner, the entire staff, and especially our server Casey were so welcoming and accommodating. The drinks, food, and service were all superb! Casey made us feel like we were the only thing that mattered in the restaurant, while the kitchen and bar handled some special requests with ease! In a world where the meaning of hospitality seems to have been forgotten by so many, this restaurant still knows what it means, and executes flawlessly.
