“I need to start by saying, I can not possibly express how thrilled and pleased we were with our decision to have our reception at S&S Brewery. We didn't pay anything for decorations, because the ambiance was everything we wanted. The quiet, peaceful, naturally beautiful atmosphere does all of the work FOR FREE. Very spacious, tons of seating, all rustic feel. Don't be shy to show up for an in-person view; you will not be disappointed! The price of the venue is very reasonable and affordable. The venue does not have a kitchen, but food trucks are no strangers to the brewery. And quite possibly my favorite part: the staff. It is VERY clear this is a family run establishment, blood related or not, everyone is family. My husband and I even made a comment that WE felt like their family! Everything turned out better than expected, and we know that is majorly due to S&S Brewery. If you're reading this review, we would absolutely recommend S&S Farm Brewery for your venue needs. FIFTY STARS!”
“Peanut butter cream Sundae. 3 of us couldn't finish it. It was very, very good. If I could make a suggestion....a bit more ice cream and a little less toppings. ?”
“We ordered XL Pizza and 20 Wings online. Our order was ready right on time. Pizza was great. It was thin and just cooked perfect. We requested our wings be extra crispy, and it was very crispy to perfection. I would recommend this place.”
“Nice little spot in the plaza. Always forget it's here. Hadn't been in years. Food was great, and our waitress Katherine was attentive and prompt. 10/10. If you want to try your favorite staples with a culinary twist I'd definitely recommend.”

“Food was amazingly good! All vegan but you would be hard pressed to tell (I'm not vegan). Service was perfectly fine as well as the atmosphere. Everyone was friendly and the place was very clean.”
“Lucky ? to have stopped at The Bunker during our stay in Greenbush. We sat at the bar and our server Lauren was so attentive, friendly and made a delicious dirty martini. The food was excellent! We ordered the salmon tacos and Philly cheesesteak, both scrumptious! Actually, I order fish tacos quite often and these were the best I’ve ever had. We will definitely stop in again when traveling through the are.”
“Very hospitable restaurant. Lady brought us out hot tea and then a salad and soup. Then our appetizer and main meL came which was excellent. It was then ended with a homemade green tapioca. Very friendly place with incredible service. Can't wait to go back!”
“I don't know where to begin. I've wanted to try it and now I've been twice in one week. So far I've had the BBQ Chicken pizza which was amazing. Saucy and delicious. Today I had the veggie lovers.....it is absolutely perfect. Go, order, eat there in the cutest dining room or take ”
“This place is awesome. A little slice of Brooklyn like coffee spot in lovely Kinderhook. Excellent food and drink in a warm and open atmosphere. Abuts The Aviary a delicious restaurant for dinner.”
“Wow. I am simply impressed by their beer. I myself am from Munich, Bavaria and I usually am very picky when it comes to beer - I can personally vouch for the authenticity of the taste!A must see for true beer lovers!”
“Great selection of baked goods, and lunch /breakfast items. My turkey avocado panini was great and macaroni had lots of flavor. Loved the pomegranate refresher was very good as well.Kid-friendliness: High chairs available”
“Magdalena’s is literally the best Mexican food we have ever had! The flavor of the salsa, the sauces on the enchiladas, and caramelized plantains for dessert were out of this world. Our first time there! We will definitely be back ?✨”
“Ordered lunch yesterday for pick up for myself and my colleagues and highly recommend! Each sandwich and sides were delicious, excellently priced, and quickly made. Would definitely recommend!”
“Was a fun experience and we had a great guy show us how to throw and help us where needed. Informative and nice. The downfall was entering in they made it feel very confusing and didn’t seem to have a hold of the place. Want busy either so I expected a little more help with the process at the beginning. Also was hoping for more of that throughout but they seemed to be very distant.”
“A great stop after walking a section of the Empire State Rail Trail. Such a welcoming “inn” feel. The staff was super friendly. And there was a very large selection of beers from all over. This was our first visit and we can’t wait to go back. Parking isn’t an issue. There’s a lot right up the street if you can’t find street parking in the quaint town of Kinderhook.”
“Thai Orchid has amazing food. The Masaman Curry was the best we have had. Everything is fresh and prepared exceptionally. Thank you Sha for the wonderful dining experience you gave us. Orchid Thai is our favorite Thai restaurant from now on!”
“Miranda’s is awesome. They have pizza, soup and great sandwich’s .Boars Head cold cuts. Chicken and eggplant Parmesan sandwich’s and other hot sandwich’s. The staff is great.”
“Love this diner! So happy to have found a great place to get a weekend treat or help myself wake up in the morning. Friendly service, delicious food (try the corned beef hash) and great people overall. Don’t change a thing.”
“If you love food that is either original or very very creative they have it all at Illusive! The best service and very consistent. I would call ahead for reservations on Thursday, Friday, and Saturdays from 5-8pm. Don't wait make it now!”
“Great place to eat!! The food is always good and the service is impeccable! The only downside is the noise level which of course depends on when there are larger groups. Overall, it is always a great experience!”
“Food always consists of plentiful portions served relatively fast. Great for families with kids. Service is pleasant...and there are great views of the Kinderhook creek from the back section. Can be a little noisy at prime meal times when it's crowded- hard on hearing aids...or those with hearing issues. (Off times are much quieter)”
“Every dish was delicious, this was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. In addition to the amazing food, the ambience and staff were wonderful. The muscle escabeche toast and the “famous martini” were menu highlights.”
“Best coffee for miles and miles and miles. They also have cold brew and nitro cold brew, teas, and all types for other beverages. Their pastries are so good too. I don't even like croissants and I find myself craving the ones sold here. Do yourself a favor and stop in. Their going to have something you will love.”
“A wow for your palate. Inexpensive. Savory and sophisticated flavors delivered in unpretentious package. Healthy portions of protein and root veggies inside this roll. This is my fourth visit, food is consistently superior, meat is juicy, veggies fresh. Worth visiting this neighborhood just for this.”
“First time for me and I loved it. I try and eat gluten free so Italian can be a bit boring. But La Bella did a great job. The space looks small from the outside but it is not cramped. I can't wait to go back. My spouse recommended it and I see why now.”
“If y'all haven't tried this place, I HIGHLY suggest it! Deserves more than 5 stars?????????? this is my home away from home. They became family to me. They greet you as you walk in the door, by your name. They will make what ever you ask for. They're the friendliest people you'll ever meet. Their place is so clean an smells amazing.”
“I had a great Valentine’s Day meal at Ama Cocina. It is one of the best Mexican restaurants in Albany in my opinion. I recommend getting the pitcher of margarita for the table. You can choose between a few different kinds, we decided to go with the strawberry. The pitcher came with free chips and salsa as well, which I think is a great idea. Between the two of us we both had four margaritas and had to get an Uber home but it was such a great time! Our waitress brought over a new glass with ice and sugar rims every time we went through a margarita. I was very impressed with the service and the attention to detail we received from the staff. The guacamole and queso was delicious and I would definitely get it again when I go back. The tacos were all good but I have to admit the barbacoa was my favorite one. It had a great flavor to it that I never had before. I can’t wait to go back. Thanks!Vegetarian options: Large selection if you don’t eat meatParking: Paid parking lot across the street. $4 for two hours. Also street parking is available if you want to try your luck.Kid-friendliness: Yes bring the kidsWheelchair accessibility: Beware there are steps”
“Always love this place. They always have at least two vegan options and plenty of vegan toppings including fruit, bubble fruit, carob chips, nuts , coconut and peanut butter. Staff are helpful and if you are new or just interested you can get a sample. They constantly clean too.”
“I came here back in August with a friend and we both enjoyed the food very much. I had gotten three Carnitas tacos (slow cooked pork) and a tamale, and she got the barbacoa tacos (braised beef). All the food was delicious, although I thought for the price that the tamale was really small. We got their lemonade as well which wasn't too sweet and had a nice kick at the end.Customer service was quick and pleasant. The staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcomed. Overall we really enjoyed our visit here, although I think it's a little pricey for what it is. Still worth it at the end of the day”
