Currently sipping on a hot cup of "Whitetail" and let me tell ya, you CANNOT make this stuff taste anything but amazing. “Just wanted to get on here and post.. we came up from PA snowmobiling and during our route that we found out by stopping at Pond Effects was shut off by pissed of land owners. We had no choice but to turn around and go the exact way we came (conditions weren’t great and it was about 80 miles)… as we sat and had great food and a few beverages, the owners kids came in. She made a point to her daughter that we were some what “screwed” and we were staying in Turin NY roughly 20 minutes away via vehicle. Her daughter went out of her way to take us back to the lodge to get our trailer and load the sleds at her business! All I can say is great people, great food, cold beer and I hope they can find a 3 mile connector to this bar because it would be a great place for snowmobilers to stop!!”

“We were recently visiting the north country and we just had to stop and try some squishy‘s barbecue. It was way too much to eat so we decided to bring some home to Georgia with us. Let me tell you Georgia is proud of there barbecue and no one here that tasted this bbq had anything but great things to say about it, but it was some of the best barbecue they ever had it compares to anything that they’ve tasted down here thank you Squishy’s bbq for a great meal and look forward to our next trip up North we look forward to the new restaurant!!”

“Amazing crab Rangoon, folds in the ends of the triangle so no empty crunch, totally stuffed with a wondrous 50/50 of crab to cheese. Add to that I asked for extra spicy beef lo mein and whomever was working the line snagged some moruga scorpion chiles from his garden and utilized 1/4 of one to make the best and most spicy lo mein I've had the pleasure of experiencing. Lovely duo, possibly a couple(?), not to be presumptuous, either way very accommodating and kind people. Can't wait to go back again!”

“As always great food and atmosphere! My friend and her family own and run the cafe. Its perfect! I was able to enjoy some time visiting with my friend over some lunch. I had the Italian Panini, delicious! I also had the Peppermint Bark seasonal coffee, yum!”

“I love this bar! It's small, but the company is fantastic. Tammy the owner always always takes care of her customers. Yes, it's a "everyone knows everyone" place but everyone is friendly this is a small town with some of the most pleasant people. Highly recommended. Kait is one of the other bar tenders she is fast and has a friendly smile she welcomes anyone that walks in the door with a hey hi, how are you. Truly felt like I was around family.”

“Every time I go home to NY I stop in and get a sub. The staff is always super friendly and the subs are a-maze-ing. try any of them with Russian dressing instead of mayonnaise!”
