“We went to Harvest House before a show and absolutely loved it. The atmosphere was relaxed but lively, and even though we sat at the bar it felt like we were part of the whole room. By the time we finished, the place was buzzing in the best way.

The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating when we arrived a little behind schedule, and made sure we could still enjoy everything without feeling rushed.

We ordered from both the specials and the main menu and enjoyed some excellent cocktails. Every dish felt fresh, balanced, and thoughtfully prepared. Harvest House perfectly captures that farm-to-tavern feel — warm, welcoming, and delicious. We’ll definitely be back!“

“The restaurant is all decorated for the holidays which makes this a magical place. Our waiter was attentive without being overbearing just checking in as needed. Food was good. The lounge has become our Christmas place as this was our third year and we will be back.“

Margie's has one of THE best burgers I have ever had in my entire life and that says a lot because I consider myself a sandwich/burger connoisseur. It's so simple and I believe that's what makes the burger shine. Paired with the atmosphere and the beach town vibes, it's hard for me to go anywhere else when I'm in need of a good burger. The other things I've tried on the menu didn't disappoint but I showed up for a burger and it stole the show for me. My compliments to the chef or recipe creator...whomever.“

“My friends and I had a lovely afternoon at The Rockaway Hotel Pool house. We were greeted by a warm and friendly hostess, Isabella, who made us feel so welcomed. Our beautiful table was in the perfect spot to take in all of what the Rockaway Hotel has to offer. The outside bar and Pool house are exquisite. The pool was bustling with excitement. Our waiter, Andrew, was polite and helpful . I highly recommend coming to The Rockaway Hotel because their staff is highly professional and attentive.“

“I had a great time here. The atmosphere was nice. There were decorating for the Christmas theme. All the workers were very nice.

They have a happy hour menu which was nice. They have happy hour prices for wine $8 and $5 shots. I did not try it because I stuck to the prosecco. We also ordered the Three cup chicken which came with a bowl of rice and was very delicious. It has fresh basil. It was now than enough for left overs. I also ordered the chili cucumber salad, it was refreshing and had a sweet hint of flavor. My friend ordered the cheeseburger spring rolls, he said they were delicious.

I decided recommend this rooftop restaurant/bar. They have outside seating but it was too cold for us.“

“I was there at Jian Nan Syosset, Long Island. Everything went great!! But, those took the orders needed to be more educated to understand each dishes. We were a fairly larger group than standard party size. Some dished were small and some dim sum served with small quantities, like 3 or 4. Those who order for the large group, should give suggestion to order multiple orders for the same dish. So, each one in the group can have at least one.“

“Friends recommended this neighborhood gem and we were not disappointed! We really enjoy restaurants that have a variety of Tapas and Speak Easy's selection of Tapas is great. Lots a different choices to try. We had the Chorizos, Meatballs and Potato Croquettes which were all delish. Tapas portions were hearty to share for 2 so no disappointments on our end. We'll be back to enjoy some of the other Tapas for a relaxed friendly dinner vibe. We're adding Speak Easy to our favorite restaurants dining rotation!“

It's decidedly not a craft cocktail spot, though it definitely would be amazing if it were. It's a hotel bar. It's a hotel bar with hotel bar prices. But what a hotel. What a hotel!

“I love to travel, and Revel restaurant in Garden City, NY, is truly one of the best restaurants I have been to. The managerial staff were very friendly and accommodating, the food was excellent, and the service was impeccable. Melissa, our server, explained everything so well, and she took her time with us. The wait staff worked with her seamlessly so that everything came out on time, and our water glasses were always full. The cuisine offered so many different choices, even for vegetarians and vegans. The vegetarian dishes I tried were a myriad of flavors, and it was so nice to experience new creations that I have never had at any other restaurant. Revel’s decor and lighting made us feel like we were somewhere very special but also comfortable. If I lived near this restaurant, I would visit frequently. We loved our experience.“

He was very responsive and did whatever he could to make planning easy during a difficult time. Everything was set up as discussed. The food and drinks were delicious and service was great as well. “Went in for breakfast. Our server was decent. Walked away as I was finishing telling him my order, which came out ICE COLD & WRONG!!!! I requested a ham, COOKED/SAUTÉED ONION & American cheese omelet, fries and RYE toast with crispy bacon. My omelet was well done, the onions RAW, fries were ice cold my bacon was not cooked and not there had to tell the runner, and my toast was marble. All this for OVER &50.00!!! The server came by, we were basically finished. Asked how everything was. How would he or the runner know our order. Neither one looked at the order. NEVER AGAIN!!!“

We were in town helping another G-FORCE location with an Amazon project, so naturally, we took a break to explore the local food scene. First Impressions: We kicked off with the Deviled Eggs – the jalapeño added a nice little kick while the bacon... well, it was bacon – crispy and delicious. Next up were the House Pickles – sweet, vinegary, and unexpectedly tasty. Who knew pickles could be this good? The Mains: Harry went with the Pulled Pork – packed with flavor, moist, and paired with an excellent sauce. The Potato Salad stood out with just the right-sized chunks, and the Cornbread? Perfectly crispy on the outside. Steve opted for the BBQ Chicken – tender and juicy, coated with that same outstanding house sauce. And the Kielbasa? This place might not be Polish, but they nailed it – full of flavor and definitely a surprise hit! The Potato Salad reminded us of Grandma’s homemade classic, and the Collards had a unique twist that, honestly, we didn’t hate.
