“My family wanted to try a new place for dinner this weekend and Jamesons was it. The atmosphere is warm and inviting so we felt comfortable the moment we walked in. Our waitress Sarah was great...super friendly and made us feel right at home. We ordered the French Onion soup (excellent) and Pretzel Sticks (ok) as appetizers. The French Onion soup ($12) was very delicious but the pretzel sticks ($12) we probably wouldnt order again. There were 2 Pretzels to the order which my wife and I thought was a little pricey for what they were. My 7 year old ordered the chicken fingers and fries which were better than I had expected them to be. My wife ordered the Fish and Chips ($25) - super tasty, very fresh, and cooked to perfection. I ordered the Reuben ($24) super yummy which was a special for the evening. My wife and I both agreed after sharing that both meals were excellent. Key Lime Pie and a cappuccino finshed us off both of which did not disappoint. Overall, food and presentation were top notch and the service was excellent ---Thanks again Sarah! My wife and I both felt it was a little pricey but we would definitely go back.“

“At first, I really enjoyed this bar upon entering. Soft country music was playing in the background and beers were reasonably priced. I overheard one guy yell that he wanted to hear some Metallica, so I figured I'd play some songs on the jukebox. Well, jukebox ate my money, said it was playing my songs, but nothing! Then, blonde haired bartender (who looked like you had to pay her just to smile) decided to just turn off the music altogether and put on the TVs at full volume for some boring soccer game. I am so tired of bars blasting soccer games rather than music! Therefore, I left. They would have made a lot more money from me if they only kept the music on. I will give it another chance later this summer and hope for a better experience. Please be a dive bar, not a soccer bar!“

“My husband and I love DOX. Not only do we love the atmosphere, the view, the food, and drinks but what we love the most are the staff! I wish I knew everyone's name because I would give them all a shout out. Our server, whom we have followed wherever she goes (that is probably one of the main reasons we frequent DOX now that I am thinking about it), Dana, is super! She is attentive and genuinely cares about her customers. She remembers our names, what we like to drink, and what we usually order for food. Dana makes us feel welcome every time we see her, with a smile on her face. Thank you Dana for always making us feel at home at DOX! Great job!“

“Came to JP’s on a whim. Had just moved here to a Oceanside from Miami a few days ago. The place was kind of empty but we were pleasantly greeted by Chris who gave us great service and was quite funny. A great bartender for sure, I would come back here just for him. The waitress assigned to our table took a long time to bring us a dessert menu, and after we asked another server, he told us they only had one option for dessert - couldn't our waitress have told us that, instead of telling us that she would get a dessert menu - that didn't even exist!? Then there was an even longer span of time getting our check to us. Perhaps these servers are tasked with more than they can handle, but when people dine out, there is an expectation of good, courteous, prompt service. I do not blame the wait staff, as they are just young people trying to earn some extra cash. The fault is with leadership being short sighted with the insufficient staff numbers, especially on a busy night. Come out - talk to the patrons, explain the wait, offer a discount if needed... Anything to prevent a negative review! Food was great - no issues there, but the taste did not erase the feeling about the poor service. I would come back, but please do better.“

The owner Anna and all her bar tenders and sisters that work behind the bar are always so caring and kind. Not alot bars have caring people but this bar does! In all, def come here bc even the back lounge area is made like into a meditative spot with lots of blooming flowers. Once a week theres free food that is barbecued. “This is a long overdue review of a holiday party held at The Clubhouse. Brian was extremely responsive and flexible in working out open bar options and a menu of appetizers and for us. We were a group of around 30 women, so we did not have the place to ourselves completely, but Brain let us have the majority of the room, keeping a few tables closest to the door open for other patrons. It was a Sunday evening, after the brunch crowd, so it was fairly quiet aside from our group. We were able to decorate the tables a bit, but the restaurant was also nicely decorated for the holidays. Brian gave us a very reasonable price and the food was excellent! The bartenders were friendly and kind, and overall, it was a wonderful night. This is the second year in a row we have held our event at The Clubhouse. I highly recommend The Clubhouse if you are looking for a fun, casual gathering spot for a group.“

“July 2024 Edit: The food is always great but can't say the same for the service. However, the service was ON POINT Saturday evening, the 27th. The staff was attentive, and the food came out quick. Granted, the restaurant was very empty with only 2 people at the bar (including me) , but none the less, I was pleasantly surprised! Keep it up, Hangar!

Has good music, food, and drinks but the staff there SUCKSSSSS. There's one bartender that's really good but other than him, they all need to be retrained on professionalism and how to be attentive. Thankfully I don't go often.“
