“I was on my way to a funeral. Most places were closing due to it being a holiday. but i had to stop for dress socks for the gathering . Knowing i wouldn’t have much time to eat ( and being celiac(gluten free)) it’s hard to find foods i can eat. I saw Charley’s had traditional on the bone wings. I figured eh. How bad can they be….. expect the unexpected. They tasted home cooked, juicy and full of flavor. If the taste wasn’t enough the young gentleman helping , Memoudou went above and beyond to make sure the experience was exceptional from beginning to end. I was welcomed and set off with kindness. It was also extremely refreshing to see someone young and so well mannered and in the moment, happy to be doing their job. 100/100“

“Stumbled upon this place when doing a little day trip out east. Really solid spot! The menu was extensive and we ended up getting 3 sandwiches for the two of us (1 full, two halves and still had leftovers). We got the Tony Soprano, the Hurricane, and the Meadowlands. Out of all 3, our favorite was the Hurricane because of how flavorful it was. Our only critique would be that the Tony Soprano needs a good sauce on it. The prices were really reasonable and the staff was super friendly! Would definitely come here again and try more of their menu.“

“Nostalgia... I haven't been back to Whitney's Deli since 2001 since graduating high school there. Always enjoyed the lighthearted conversations with everyone there. Everyone always had a friendly smile. I especially loved and remember this homemade creamy pasta salad with sundried tomatoes. I wonder if they are still making it? Delicious. Highly recommend this deli, even after all these years. Wishing you -John, the fam and everyone well! Hope to make it back in one day!“
