“This is the place To go for lunch / dinner. The food is always fresh and delicious regardless of the time I go. I stop here 3-5 days a week and it’s always consistently good. In addition to the great food, the staff is always warm and kind.“

And if you’d like to see an amazing bakery, which is attached to this restaurant, this is the place to go! “Best sushi restaurant in the area. Always fresh and fast. Worth the money. We don’t try other places because we love it o much.

All you can east sushi is affordable and worth the money. Go for dinner though, there’s more options, as their lunch all you can eat menu is not their full menu, and there’s some tasty stuff on that dinner menu.

Our go to always to start is the tuna pizza, clear mushroom soup, and their fried cheese wontons.
For our sushi and sashimi, we love their tuna sashimi and we normally order a bulk of that. For special rolls, our go to is anything tuna. Our favorite is tuna amazing, spicy girl, and volcano.
For their dessert menu, we love the green tea ice cream.

We especially love that everything is through the iPad- ordering drinks, even water, getting the check, and placing your food order. We will always continue to return.“

“I can not believe that this restaurant has been here on Main Street in Port Jefferson Village for over 20 years and I never ate there!!! This is my new Favorite place to eat. “Breakfast is our favorite meal and we eat out every morning. Due to an early morning doctor appointment, we bumped into Buttermilk’s Kitchen. Great vibe as soon as you walk in….friendly and cheerful staff, nice decor, immediate service. I had the “The ‘Ol Barnyard”…..the sausage gravy was excellent with big chunks of sausage and super flavorful…..probably the best I’ve had here in NY and most of the South!!! The bacon was high quality and very tasty. My perfect over easy eggs were so fresh (yes, I can taste the freshness and quality just by having a bite of the whites!). My husband had a “Create Your Own Omelette” and declared that is was a “work of art” (I was offended because I make a darn good omelette and he never said that to me!) We were concerned about the “hash browns” because that usually means just cubed and fried potatoes, so we were very pleasantly surprised at the delicious shredded and seasoned, crispy but soft hash browns. Our regular coffee was good and hot, and they offer several “craft” coffee options. The Banana Foster French toast looked delectable! The lunch menu looks good, as well. We’ll definitely be back.“

“I don't know how I missed this hidden gem in St.James, but I was fortunate to have dinner there last night. A small, but intimate restaurant, almost missed it traveling from south to north on Moriches Rd. Not your typical menu that you would find in your average Modern Italian restaurant. Delicious, authentic italian regional dishes, like mama made. Interesting appetizers to wondetful pasta dishes, and the braised beef over polenta was incredible. You can bring your own wine, and the wait staff was very attentive, great place, looking forward to returning!“
