“I could not promote a place more. They’re absolutely incredible. The quality of their food is the best. I know the owners since I’m a kid…. What a wonderful, hard working, dedicated, kind family & member of the community. At this point I’ve gotten easily over 100 orders over the years… & it’s crazy but I don’t they EVER Messed up my order. Always such a quick easy joyful experience when I come in. & if you live in Nesconset… you know.. no Chinese in miles comes close to this. Dragon is the best“

“I can not believe that this restaurant has been here on Main Street in Port Jefferson Village for over 20 years and I never ate there!!! This is my new Favorite place to eat. The food was exceptional and good size portions. The pita bread they put out on the table was so delicious I could have made that my meal. The service was extremely attentive and so personable. The Owner came around greeting everyone and made us feel like we were all family having dinner together. I am looking forward to my next visit.“

“This is one of my favorite places to stop and get a bite to eat. They have great rice bowls with very generous portions of protein. You also get a pita on the side with a cup of hummus. There are toppings for the hummus as well, including my favorite, olive spread. The service is warm and friendly and the staff are great. They also have great muffins and protein packs. To the side there are some interesting energy drinks but I have not tried those. Overall, I really like their food and the price is good for what you get. I highly recommend them!!!“

“I've only eaten here once and I just have to rave about it. There are SO many vegan and vegetarian options! Near me, Bird and Bao closed. I thought I'd have to wait to go to Brooklyn to get an authentic one again. I was so excited about Yume! This place has them, and they are fantastic! The tofu was crisp, the cucumbers and mushrooms were fresh, and the quality was excellent. It felt so good to have a bao bun, and know how many options there are for next time!
My friend got a poke bowl today and repeatedly raved about how much salmon was packed into it, and that she was thrilled for her leftovers. They have extremely generous portions, which is great for when I get my own poke bowl/ramen. There are also many teas and drinks I want to try, it's overwhelming how great everything sounds. A coworker had previously mentioned how great the Ramen was too.
People at my job talk about this place all the time, and they're absolutely right! It was worth the hype and no matter your diet, you'll find something to love. A great staple to the mall, they deserve the best!“

“This is one of my favorite restaurants. The quality is on par with Manhattan restaurants at Long Island prices. I normally go for lunch take out. But two days ago I had dinner. They had homemade sweet corn rice balls and homemade sweet corn ravioli. They were outstanding. Restaurant is small but nice. The staff is very attentive without being overbearing.“

After she brought us the bill, we waited around 10 minutes for our card to be processed while she was doing side work, and eventually another staff member had to run it for us. It just felt a little odd to be left waiting that long when we were ready to pay and leave. Overall, the food was great, but the service could have been more welcoming and attentive.“

“Holy smokes…literally! Dare I say the best BBQ I’ve ever had in New York? I’ve had ridiculous BBQ all over the country. This brisket is LEGIT!!! Maybe a top 2 or top 3 brisket I ever had. Passed the tug test with flying colors! If I had to nitpick anything it would only be a slight lack of a smoke ring? But the smoky flavor was definitely there and juicy AF! “Breakfast is our favorite meal and we eat out every morning. Due to an early morning doctor appointment, we bumped into Buttermilk’s Kitchen. Great vibe as soon as you walk in….friendly and cheerful staff, nice decor, immediate service. I had the “The ‘Ol Barnyard”…..the sausage gravy was excellent with big chunks of sausage and super flavorful…..probably the best I’ve had here in NY and most of the South!!! The bacon was high quality and very tasty. My perfect over easy eggs were so fresh (yes, I can taste the freshness and quality just by having a bite of the whites!). My husband had a “Create Your Own Omelette” and declared that is was a “work of art” (I was offended because I make a darn good omelette and he never said that to me!) We were concerned about the “hash browns” because that usually means just cubed and fried potatoes, so we were very pleasantly surprised at the delicious shredded and seasoned, crispy but soft hash browns. Our regular coffee was good and hot, and they offer several “craft” coffee options. The Banana Foster French toast looked delectable! The lunch menu looks good, as well. We’ll definitely be back.“
