“I coach the three young boys of the owners here for swimming and have been looking forward to trying out their restaurant. The food was so delicious and came out very quickly (within 15 mins of ordering) and once I got home I sat down and ate it all in one sitting. (Definitely enough food for 2-3 meals) The boneless spare-rips in particular looked and smelled incredIble as well as naturally colored and most importantly were absolutely delicious. On top of all that the owners are absolutely fantastic people and seeing how they treat their staff and guests it is easy to see how they are raising such incredible young men. Definitely recommend trying out and stopping next door to try the frozen yogurt shop (Swirls&Twirls) owned by the same family! (I know Ill be back!:))“

“I can not believe that this restaurant has been here on Main Street in Port Jefferson Village for over 20 years and I never ate there!!! This is my new Favorite place to eat. The food was exceptional and good size portions. The pita bread they put out on the table was so delicious I could have made that my meal. The service was extremely attentive and so personable. The Owner came around greeting everyone and made us feel like we were all family having dinner together. I am looking forward to my next visit.“

I am not a vegan but their spicy vegan ramen with an egg is my go to. I eat there whenever I am near the mall. My toddler loves the plain chicken ramen.“

“I cannot even begin to say how amazing this place is. They spared no expense decorating and renovating this space. The food was fantastic and is very reasonably priced. They have a huge center bar and lots of Hibachi tables and seating if you are getting Sushi. PLUS a robot brought our food! Ask for Alec! He took great care of us!“

“Breakfast is our favorite meal and we eat out every morning. Due to an early morning doctor appointment, we bumped into Buttermilk’s Kitchen. Great vibe as soon as you walk in….friendly and cheerful staff, nice decor, immediate service. I had the “The ‘Ol Barnyard”…..the sausage gravy was excellent with big chunks of sausage and super flavorful…..probably the best I’ve had here in NY and most of the South!!! The bacon was high quality and very tasty. My perfect over easy eggs were so fresh (yes, I can taste the freshness and quality just by having a bite of the whites!). My husband had a “Create Your Own Omelette” and declared that is was a “work of art” (I was offended because I make a darn good omelette and he never said that to me!) We were concerned about the “hash browns” because that usually means just cubed and fried potatoes, so we were very pleasantly surprised at the delicious shredded and seasoned, crispy but soft hash browns. Our regular coffee was good and hot, and they offer several “craft” coffee options. The Banana Foster French toast looked delectable! The lunch menu looks good, as well. We’ll definitely be back.“

“I don't know how I missed this hidden gem in St.James, but I was fortunate to have dinner there last night. A small, but intimate restaurant, almost missed it traveling from south to north on Moriches Rd. Not your typical menu that you would find in your average Modern Italian restaurant. Delicious, authentic italian regional dishes, like mama made. Interesting appetizers to wondetful pasta dishes, and the braised beef over polenta was incredible. You can bring your own wine, and the wait staff was very attentive, great place, looking forward to returning!“
