“Delicious products and an amazingly thoughtful menu for people with celiac or gluten allergies. I found gluten free gingerbread people for my daughter to decorate at an upcoming holiday party, and a gluten free gingerbread house kit, which I’ve never been able to find before! My daughter was also able to get a toasted buttered bagel for the road, also a first for her! The staff is kind and accommodating. I highly recommend!“

“Bird & Bao in Patchogue is hands down one of my favorite places to eat! The food is always consistently amazing & the owner & staff are genuinely some of the nicest people. Every time I walk in, I feel like I’m being taken care of & it keeps me coming back way more often than I’d like to admit (I’m officially addicted).

The Nashville hot chicken bao bun is my go to every single time. Perfectly crispy, spicy, flavorful, & just unreal in that soft bao bun. And the crispy brussel sprouts… honestly, they’re to die for. I could three whole orders by myself without blinking.

If you’re anywhere near Patchogue & haven’t tried Bird & Bao yet, you’re missing out! I recommend it to everyone!!“

“Breakfast is our favorite meal and we eat out every morning. Due to an early morning doctor appointment, we bumped into Buttermilk’s Kitchen. Great vibe as soon as you walk in….friendly and cheerful staff, nice decor, immediate service. I had the “The ‘Ol Barnyard”…..the sausage gravy was excellent with big chunks of sausage and super flavorful…..probably the best I’ve had here in NY and most of the South!!! The bacon was high quality and very tasty. My perfect over easy eggs were so fresh (yes, I can taste the freshness and quality just by having a bite of the whites!). My husband had a “Create Your Own Omelette” and declared that is was a “work of art” (I was offended because I make a darn good omelette and he never said that to me!) We were concerned about the “hash browns” because that usually means just cubed and fried potatoes, so we were very pleasantly surprised at the delicious shredded and seasoned, crispy but soft hash browns. Our regular coffee was good and hot, and they offer several “craft” coffee options. The Banana Foster French toast looked delectable! The lunch menu looks good, as well. We’ll definitely be back.“

“I don't know how I missed this hidden gem in St.James, but I was fortunate to have dinner there last night. A small, but intimate restaurant, almost missed it traveling from south to north on Moriches Rd. Not your typical menu that you would find in your average Modern Italian restaurant. Delicious, authentic italian regional dishes, like mama made. Interesting appetizers to wondetful pasta dishes, and the braised beef over polenta was incredible. You can bring your own wine, and the wait staff was very attentive, great place, looking forward to returning!“
