My most recent experience at Blue Plate was getting a burger, which arrived medium rare. Apparently someone else at my table wanted rare, but their burger arrived with no pink at all. After explicitly requesting, it's got to be pink. The kitchen staff is all pretty new, and although they are working hard, they aren't listening to customer feedback that much. Superior wait person who helped greatly when our 5 person reservation had not been recorded. Inventive food, well prepared. Check out the oat ice cream. Mussels just like I make at home. Something to eat for every person. I'll go back.

We went to lovely Chatham for the last day of the film festival and ended the day with dinner at the Blue Plate. Exquisite. Waitstaff were gracious and attentive. We had calamari and a mango salad for appetizers. My husband had the porkchop and I got the salmon as entrees. It was such a treat! Highly recommend.
