“We just had a phenomenal dinner at Intermezzo and we could not be more pleased. The service was the best we have experienced in Chautauqua ( and outside of CHQ). The specialty cocktails were all delicious and well crafted. We had an appetizer of tuna tacos that was huge and flavorful. One of us had the shrimp “cargots “ (also a app)which was accompanied by two huge slabs of bread for dipping. Two of us had the shrimp and grits which was divine. One person had the buratta on focaccia and it rocked. I had the pizza of marinara, truffle oil, mushrooms and cheese which melted in my mouth and it had cauliflower crust that was the best I have had. The wines were also great. To top it all off, it was comparatively inexpensive to other places on the ground. Totally worth a visit.”

“Our favorite place for a casual bite and drink. Everything is relative at Chautauqua, but in summer 2026 this is the best experience we’ve had. Service, quality, atmosphere are all pretty good.”

“We ordered lunch entree salads, a chopped salad one with grilled shrimp and a burrata and peach salad with grilled salmon. Both were grilled perfectly. A lovely table on the porch overlooking the lake. The service was a little slow—we were seated for 25 minutes at the table before any waitstaff came—but they made up for it with attentiveness thereafter. Food is much improved!”

“A Chautauqua Institution tradition. Have been coming here for as long as I can remember and they are always have great ice cream and friendly staff. The portions are generous. I appreciate that they serve Hershey’s ice cream, instead of Perry’s like many other places on the lake. Will definitely be returning soon!”

“We had our daughter’s baby shower here and the owner and staff were so accommodating and helpful in the planning stages. My numerous questions via email were promptly and happily answered. They were so helpful on the day of the event by providing enough time for set up and decorating; and the food and drinks made by Full Strength were all delicious! This venue was cozy and perfect for our moderate scale number (30+) of guests attending. I would definitely recommend Full Strength for a great place to meet for a coffee and a treat, or for a special event that you are planning!!”

“One of my favorite breweries to visit here in the Jamestown area. The food selection and quality is excellent but the bag of chips for a side doesn’t quite get it for me. Hopefully they’ll bring back the original Warlock beer soon, it was my favorite.”

“Hubby and I stopped in for lunch yesterday. The restaurant was humming with many guests and servers buzzing around. We were promptly seated and viewed the impressive menu. We were pleasantly surprised to be given salsa and warm, delicious chips. Very yummy. Our orders were placed and in about 10 minutes, we were served our meals. Lovely presentation for both lunches which were very tasty. Service was excellent. We were both very pleased. We will be back and recommend giving them a try.”

We had the strip steak and the scallops with risotto. lobster bisque. was rhe soup. you get a great dinner starting from $25-$40. includes soup or salad and bread with house made dipping oil. AMAZING This new chef is off the charts !!! The restaurant is so very clean as well. price point in my opinion is under priced for portuon sizs and dining experience. “Absolutely AMAZING. We ordered some molasses cookies because we can never find them in the store, honestly even if I do find them in the store I will not be buying them! I’d rather go here. They’re phenomenal. And the weekly cupcake specials are always perfect. Our favorite has to be the blueberry cheesecake. She gets the perfect cheesecake flavor. We can’t recommend this enough.”

Also, the place was very and organized and clean!!! The ice cream serving was huge!!! And delicious Hersheys ice cream, I had never had that brand, it was wonderful and only 1.00 !! Definitely a place to visit when you’re in the town of Panama NY !!”
