“Absolutely the creamiest, dreamiest soft-serve custard in the Buffalo area. Native to Western New York, I relocated to California twenty years ago. I'm sorry to report: "soft-serve" in the Golden State is a poor excuse for the real thing. It's got no structure--your tongue cuts right through it in about three licks. Also, I'm pretty sure their cows aren't as happy as they claim to be. So, whenever I go home for a visit, PJ Cools is my first and final stop. This custard is rich, sweet, and silky on your tongue. The texture is similar to softened butter--it melts slowly in your mouth. One cone comes complete with a thousand pleasant memories. What's more, the interior of this place is an explosion of kitsch: old-fashioned cartoons and advertisements line the walls. If you live anywhere near this magic little shack, don't take it for granted. Grab the wife, the kids, your Mom, your Grandma and whoever else you can think of, load them in the car and get there before another second slips by.“
“Went there yesterday for the first time because I had envy seeing a friend get a gift box of these delectable delights! The lemon cheesecake was one of the most delicious cookies I’ve ever had. They are so huge that you could share it with three friends.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free options“
“Delicious ice cream. Generous portions. I had the soft chocolate and it had plenty of chocolate flavor, unlike a popular chain where you can barely taste the chocolate. Husband loved his cannoli sundae. They have a big list of creative sundaes.“
“Love this place. Excellent ice cream and chocolate. I highly recommend going here at least once.Kid-friendliness: It is a candy store and ice cream shop, of course this kid friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: Good parking spots for wheelchair accessibility. Also a ramp to help you get in.“
“Came here for ice cream after walking in Reinstein park (they're right near each other, recommend doing both!) They have more Perry's flavors than I think I've seen anywhere. I got a large to share with my husband and the portion size did not disappoint. Staff was friendly too and they had plenty of outdoor seating.“
“Quite tasty, although seems higher priced. My husband got a blender and really liked it. I got a parfait that was good too (Nadine), but it would have been easier to eat if the pretzels were broken up lol. Very creamy ice cream, good sauces and generous with the toppings.“
“Amazing time at DQ. A nice young man, Noah, made my Dairy Queen experience delightful! I wasn’t sure what to pick but he suggested to me his favorite blizzard and it was great. Very satisfied with my experience, and his customer service was top notch!“
“Had some time to kill en route to the airport and stopped in. Excellent. Tons of variety and really good custard (much like Culver’s if you’re used to that) and they have shakes, sundaes, and hard scoop too. And gluten-free cones were a nice plus!“
“Well its been a while since we came to eat here. It was so good, lots of options to choose from. The food was really good, service was great they brought our food out to us, so you know it was fresh and of course we couldn't leave without some dessert. It was so good to relax and enjoy a meal here and we did come back a few weeks later for my son's birthday cake. Everything is fresh and delicious!“
“Oh My! I can never choose one flavor to buy. I always have about 3 different ones in my freezer at a time. Be it Southern Pecan, Strawberry, Parkerhouse, All American ,Peanut Butter Cup, Caramel Chocolate Twist or whatever, they all are the BEST.“
“Oh my gosh I love dairy and queens. Put 'em together and I'm happy. You can't go wrong with a blizzard; Breakfast, lunch, and dinner you know what I'm slurping up. The service was friendly and efficient, just like Giannis Antetokounmpo.“
“Took my family here for late night ice cream. Ordered up and my oldest daughter drops her ice cream two minutes after getting it . Well the ladys asked what happened and gladly gave our daughter free ice cream .very nice of them ? .Kid-friendliness: Replaced my daughter's ice cream she dropped free of charge .“
