“Talk about too many choices — in the best possible way. Green Acres is one of those ice cream stops where you walk up, stare at the menu, and instantly realize you’re going to need help deciding. Thankfully, they give out samples. It makes the whole experience fun instead of overwhelming.
You’ll see I posted pictures of their menu, and trust me, you’ll want to look at it before you go. The flavor list is huge, creative, and full of classics plus wild options.
It’s a busy, bustling place, but the service is fast, friendly, and clearly used to the rush. Everything tasted fresh, creamy, and worth every penny. Honestly, it’s definitely the top ice cream spot around.
And here’s my pro tip:
Go to Papa Halal Gyro first so you’re already in the mood for a sweet treat. The combo of a huge, delicious gyro meal followed by Green Acres ice cream is chef’s kiss.“

“Pink Cow is not only a local favorite in my hometown of Alden, but they have also been catering ice cream for our company picnic for the last several years. “We went last night to Kone king and had a great experience. On fridays we celebrate our son Felix and call it “Felix fridays” where we do something fun with him. Decided on Kone king last night. Our son ordered his ice cream and the staff clapped and celebrated “Felix friday” and the one worker said she had something special for Felix and it was a color changing spoon- to a 5 year old that was the coolest thing ever. I just wanna say thank you to the staff for really brightening Felix Friday for us, it made it a magical evening for our sweet boy. ♥️“

“I have visited this place twice. Once last year during the 4th of July weekend (2025) and now today (July 4th weekend 2026), while visiting family. The place is great! A large variety of flavors and items. I would DEFINITELY recommend going there if you get a chance. Both times the staff were great.“

“My sister and I were traveling for my birthday to Niagara Falls, Canada from Ohio. A friend of mine, who grew up in Buffalo suggested if we had time to stop by and try the best sponge candy, so we DID! We also tried other delicious chocolates and AHmazing baklava. It did not disappoint!“

“Crumbl makes some of the best cookies around. They’re fresh, creative, and consistently delicious, with new flavors every week that make each visit fun. The only drawback is the price. “No I don’t recommend French Road Dairy Queen. The workers are rude. Online says they’re open until 10 so my kids and I ride our bikes a couple miles to French road Dairy Queen looking for a tasty treat. On arrival the inside area is already closed at 9:45. Drive thru is open since they don’t have a walk up window like every other ice cream shop I figured I could get served at the drive thru window. NOPE. No ice cream for you they say like I’m in the Sienfeld episode The soup Nazi only it’s ice cream. My kids and I were so disappointed. The ride home was treacherous with no calories in our systems. We barely made it home Sincerely Disappointed customer“

“We really like this particular location. It's always clean, the staff are friendly and helpful. We see a few of the same younger (college age?) gentlemen there when we stop in after the kids ortho & dentist appointments every month and they are always very kind and patient with the kids.“

“Usually really good, our order is always right, but sometimes it’s a group of young kids working that don’t really seem to care about whether you get your food/ice cream at a decent time or not. They tend to care more about being on their phones and listening to music/joking with each other than customer service but that seems to be pretty typical these days. Otherwise it’s been good“

“I love this, this is perfect. Putting aside that there's more Perry's flavors than any other ice cream shop I've seen, this place is AN ACTUAL TRAINCAR!! I thought it was just a name. There's tracks under it and everything.
The people are really cool and pleasant, and they have a cool train track toy off in the yard. Also there's a deer family, a mom and 2 fawns, just meandering around, eating grass, not running away from the people. This is a great place“

“BEST subs in WNY. They use all fresh meats and vegetables - tomatoes are fresh and bright red (other sub shops will bury unripe, yellow slices in under the mayo), lettuce is fresh iceberg and not shredded, rolls and meats are fresh. I pass 4 sub shops on my way to J & M’s on Transit Rd. You wait a bit too long for them to take your phone order but it’s worth the wait. Great staff!“
