“Absolutely the creamiest, dreamiest soft-serve custard in the Buffalo area. Native to Western New York, I relocated to California twenty years ago. I'm sorry to report: "soft-serve" in the Golden State is a poor excuse for the real thing. It's got no structure--your tongue cuts right through it in about three licks. Also, I'm pretty sure their cows aren't as happy as they claim to be. So, whenever I go home for a visit, PJ Cools is my first and final stop.This custard is rich, sweet, and silky on your tongue. The texture is similar to softened butter--it melts slowly in your mouth. One cone comes complete with a thousand pleasant memories. What's more, the interior of this place is an explosion of kitsch: old-fashioned cartoons and advertisements line the walls.If you live anywhere near this magic little shack, don't take it for granted. The orange sherbet is nicely refreshing; the chocolate, is good, but not as rich as I hoped it would be. Perhaps a dark chocolate ice cream? My serving was fine. A single scoop is reasonable priced. It is a very small ice cream shop, with only four small tables.“

I got a Perry's dairy-free peanut butter cookies & cream with big pieces of cookies soooo damn yummy! On a sugar cone nice & crunchy! The service is quick too you order in one line and pick up at another. Location is great too, the ambiance is outside and they have tables or a grass area to sit at, if you have a blanket but definitely a must too check out.“

“Cone King East is a good place to go and buy ice cream on a hot day. It is closed four months out of the year. From mid- November to mid-March due to the seasonal nature of ice cream shops. I would recommend this place for families and individuals.“
“Needed to get the Buster Bars!!!! ? There was only one couple in line in front of me so I had a very little wait time to place my order. The window to the left is where you place your order and pay for it. The window to the right is where you get your order. Buster Bars are pre-made and packaged but so very good. The staff is extremely friendly attentive and quick to fill your order. The ones waiting to receive their orders before me had very little wait time too. Definitely will be stopping again soon.“
