“We get takeout from Deli Taco almost every single week. Their wet burritos are to die for. The quality is consistent and the flavors are incredible. Great value for the price. Fernando and his team are friendly and make you feel like family. Don’t forget to try the desserts! The tres leches cake is delicious.”
“I had a great time here. It’s more of a hangout place then a grab and go place but the vibe is great. There’s board games and a fair bit of seating. A bookstore is right next door.As far as food it’s mostly coffee. They can heat some of their packaged baked goods or make avocado toast. But I recommend the raspberry infused coffee that I drank. This place is dog friendly and has wi-fi.”
“Wonderful food and even nicer people. Spent a weekend in the Utica area and decided to stop here for lunch. We felt like we were having lunch with family. Everyone was so kind and friendly. Ended up ordering the lamb gyro and the salad with chicken shawarma. Both dishes were delicious and very fresh. The owner, Layla, offered us coffee that was rich and tasty. It is very difficult to replicate the kind of service you find here. We would not hesitate to come back again if we were in the area.”
“Lafa is always consistently delicious and I would recommend it to anyone! I love to make my own salad/grain bowl and load it up with my favorites. I highly recommend the vinigarette dressing and tziki sauce! Thank you for always having a consistent healthy option. Fast, fair priced and so tasty. Great work Lafa!!”
“As we were visiting town, we found this gem! Heather made us feel welcome. She and her colleague made such delicious food and beautiful, tasty drinks. We had fun in this bar. Definitely will be coming back and recommend it to others!”
“Food was delicious! Service was great! The atmosphere is quaint!A group of pickleball players invaded the place. The owners were wonderful! I'll definitely return! ?”
“I just stopped in with a friend and had their Holy Chese and Ham, Batman! with a side of Potatoe Salad and a Chai Latte. An awesome and unique taste experience! Friendly staff, mellow atmosphere.”
“We decided to try this place out for my father in laws birthday since I saw a great review in the Gluten Free Facebook group. They really do have the best gluten free pizza and awesome service! There is just one or two tables to eat as it is mostly take out right now. Hope they will turn it into a restaurant in the future.”
“One Arabian Night (Marib Restaurant) in Utica, NY offers diverse and authentic Arabian cuisine at affordable prices. Located at 706 Varick St, this restaurant provides a delightful culinary experience with a blend of traditional decor and modern elegance. Enjoy a variety of flavorful dishes that showcase the rich heritage of Arabian cuisine in a welcoming atmosphere.”
“Our first time going here and it surely won't be our last. Four of us went and were seated quick. Waitress came right over and took our drink order and brought menus. We asked her questions about the dinner items and her suggestions were perfect. Service was great and the food tasted fantastic. Food was plentiful and we brought leftovers home. This restaurant is a must go to if you love great well prepared Mexican food. And for entertainment they have a robot food carrier, a first for me to see. We all really enjoyed our meals, which I also thought was extremely fair priced. We will definitely be back.”
“It's been a long time since I've sat down in a diner and it immediately has the hometown feels. The service and atmosphere were amazing, their food was so fresh tasting. My mom and I were very pleased with everything Eddie's had to offer. We look forward to going ”
“Absolutely amazing food. Seriously. One of the best places to eat around here and they offer real gourmet dishes. I’m an experienced cook and thus appreciate a great place to eat like this. I’m not easily impressed as I have a more discerning palette and this is one of my top 2 eateries around here! Little pricey but worth it.”
“I stopped on a whim with my wife not realizing that this is a gluten free dairy free restaurant. When I realized that this was the case I was apprehensive because I am not on a restricted diet. So we ordered a panini and burger with fries and I was worried for no reason. The food was really good and well seasoned the fries were delicious and came with a dipping sauce. We have a few friends that will love to hear about this place. We also had a couple cupcakes which were very good also. I could tell the burger bun and cupcakes were gluten free but they were good tasting and I would not think twice about coming back again. If you have dietary restrictions this is a good place for you to try. If you don't, don't worry the food is good and you can support your family that needs this.”
“This place is amazing ! I got the “Frulatto Di Caffe”, and when I tell you it was phenomenal, believe me. The costumer service was amazing and the atmosphere was wonderful. If you’re looking to relax while enjoying the most delicious coffee and pastries this is the place to be.”
“What a tremendous restaurant. We were staying in Clinton for the first time, and stumbled upon it. Just a fabulous meal, service, and ambience. Everything from the authentic sourdough bread, cider donut bread pudding was extremely memorable. We happen to be in there on St. Patrick's Day weekend, so while I don't think you'll be able to enjoy the corn beef on a regular basis, if it's any indication of the regular menu, it was stupendous. Not to mention the fact that the drinks were generous and we really appreciated the warm yet. Updated ambience. Kind of like, having a great babysitter, or Electrician. I hate to recommend Nola's too highly because I'm afraid we won't be able to just pop in next time. I would suggest reservations. Highly recommended.”
“The lo mein was amazing and the sushi was fresh! Everything was super tasty. The price is very affordable. Pretty cozy dining atmosphere. But the outside needs some work lol we were very skeptical when we arrived there because it was so dark. We literally were thinking like “should we go in?”. But I’m glad we did! Will definitely go back to check out more dishes.”
“Such a cool coffee place. The Toasted Marshmallow Ice Coffee is so good. Same with the Blueberry Cheesecake flavor. Good atmosphere where everyone is friendly. Speedy service too. Would recommend.”
“I had been to Nail Creek many times, but never had anything to eat. This time, I went for lunch and got the lunch special which was a hot dog with white beef chili on top alongside fries. It was absolutely delicious and I hope it's a special again next time I'm in. My friend got shrimp tacos and was equally satisfied with her choice. They have a great draft selection, with something for everyone, and service was great. The bartenders are super friendly. The place itself has an old charm to it while still seeming modern, is clean and well-maintained. I definitely want to go back for their brunch menu!”
“I think this is our only Bakery left. Rome is know for our amazing Italian food. Ferlo's does not disappoint . Their tomato pie. Bake goods and bread is just like I remember as a kid. Like walking into Rome's history . My favorite is the football rolls...Perfect for meatball subs !!!”
“Our son attends Hamilton College, and when we visit my Beautiful Wife never fails to mention that we have to stop by The Cremeria. It had been two(2) years and last night we finally stopped in for dessert for the first time. Big Shout out to Kandace & Davide who were kind enough to walk us through the menu and make fantastic suggestions. 5 Stars”
“out of this world. KITTY's sent mashed potatoes, salad and roast beef to a family members home as they had passed away. Delicious - will certainly keep this in mind moving forward! thank you”
“We were here for a nearby college track meet so didn’t expect such a great meal in the middle of farm country. The Chicken Francaise was tender and savory with a perfect mixture of fresh veggies: brussel sprouts, zucchini, red onion, and root veggies. The service was fast even though the place was packed. We came back two nights in a row.”
“This is my favorite place to eat while visiting central NY. The food is amazing. Hummus, Kibbe, tabbouleh, fresh pita bread, it's all absolutely amazing. Seagan and Mary are the nicest people you'll ever meet. This is a must stop location if you enjoy Middle Eastern food!Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ramp attached to the front door and wide paths throughout.”
“Great mom and pop diner! Our waitress was friendly and fun and food was great! Place was slammed busy and everything worked like a well oiled machine. We did wait a bit to get our food but the cook was entertaining to watch and time flew by lol. Will will come back soon!”
“My husband and I have a camp about an hour north of Rome. We drive by this place on the way in and out. We always wanted to stop and try their beers. On the Friday after Thanksgiving we finally did it. And we are so glad. Got a flight of Czech Pilsner, Shfifty Nine Amber, Polar Vortech and Black Hat Hacked Bourbon Mulato Stout. We liked them all. The Mulato Stout was unusual and quite tasty but they only had limited quantity. So we left with a growler of the Shfifty Nine Amber.”
“Very nice setting, tremendous food, good quantity, good prices, good service. Touches each and every base. Nothing not to like about this fine local establishment.”
“We were visiting from the west coast and wanted to see how the poke was here. The service was great and the restaurant is right by the Mall food court but tucked away so it is a lot quieter. The poke and all the sides tasted super fresh and delicious. Definitely suggest checking it out!”
“Holland Farms has been around since I was a kid! It fondly reminds me of my childhood and visiting my Grandparents. They have the best baked goods!! When I come up to the Utica area to visit family, I love to stop and get some "goodies" to bring home! ”
“I order from Symeon's from time to time, but this time we decided to go for a sit-down dinner and I'm glad we did! Service was excellent and our server was great. There are a couple different dining areas; one feels more like a typical restaurant dining room and the other felt more diner-ish so the layout and vibe is a bit different than what I expected. I ordered the Xanthi pita sandwich and loved it, especially the crispy eggplant in it! If you're a dessert person, try the Baklava Cheesecake!”
“food is really good! very small dining area but intentionally done by owners. don't go without a reservation - highly unlikely you'll be seated quickly without a reservation. this restaurant is almost like a chef's table experience - which is the polar opposite of the gigantic corporate places like olive garden. service is great!Parking: small parking lot.”
