“This job is very stressful especially at night. The girl working the drive thru handles herself very well and doesn’t let it get to her. I used to do this job so I know just how stressful this can be especially on the closing shift. These corporations want to squeeze as much as they can out of as little as possible. Their only concern is profit and drive thru times. They send everyone home to cut labor costs and expect 3 people to accommodate late night rushes. One person in drive thru, one person making food and one manager. Then they complain when their drive thru times are through the roof. You can’t expect 3 people to run a restaurant and get their closing tasks done on time so you can save on your labor. If you come to any one of these places at night and you wonder why you’re sitting in drive through for 20 plus minutes, just know that 99.9 percent of the time it’s not the employees fault. They are stretched thin to the max. It’s the greedy corporations that run these places. Hang in there yall are doing what you can.“

“I’ve come here a few times, but today was totally different. I was in line and an elderly gentleman in front of me collapses! He went unresponsive and a skinny brunette lady who works there runs over and performs CPR saving his life! Truly an amazing worker who is a hero. Food was just okay though there was a hard crunch in my cookie so I had to throw it out“

Employees are phenomenal. They were very courteous, explained things well when I was ordering. Spoke clearly.

“First time eating here, the two hotdogs that i got were the chilli dog with ketchup and sauerkraut, relish, ketchup and let me tell you it was so delicious. It’s s nice to have something different in the area, the customer service was really good and the packaging for the hotdog was perfect (it was in a sealed container). The bun was sweet and the hotdogs were all beef from what i can tell. The pricing is also good considering the times we are in. Will definitely come back.“

Gus's is a legendary culinary institution in blue collar Watervliet. It is greasy, messy, inexpensive, unhealthy, and monumentally a must-do Capital District bucket list visit. I grew up across the river in Troy, NY, but I've lived in Central Virginia for 20 years. I visit Gus's every time I return to visit my family.“

“My first experience with Nepalese cuisine. I ordered three styles of momo, which is a type of stuffed pasta dumpling. More similar to a semolina dough,, not thick and glutinous like rice dough. Clearly hand made with care. Jhol Momo is steamed dumplings served in soup. Nothing was too extreme in the soup, it was balanced and savory. Kothey Momo is like a pot sticker,, fried on one side and steamed. I got paneer cheese stuffing. It didn't have lots of cheese, but rather savory vegetables to round out the filling. It's served with chutney, a traditional sauce. I really enjoyed this even though I was expecting more cheese. The C (Chili) Momo is bathed in a spicy and slightly sweet red pepper sauce. It has bits of onion and pepper and shaved scallion. I got chicken stuffed. If you like General Tso's you'll like this, if you like Chicken Cacciatore you'll like this. It left my lips feeling pleasantly warm after eating. I'm curious to know what kind of chili pepper they use. Medium heat level, don't fear it. The owner was very nice and answered my questions, and language was not a barrier. The interior is bright and clean with several tables. The exterior is fresh and new. It IS at a very busy intersection of Albany, which is why I went between lunch and dinner hours. Be aware that if you're driving finding parking nearby could be tricky, but also be mindful of holding up traffic as you search for a spot. If necessary, drive around the block and regroup. The food is worth any extra work you have to put into getting it. I felt safe in the neighborhood, but be aware of your surroundings, it's a busy area with several main roads coming together at that location. Perfect if you come by bus! I'll be going back to try beef and mushroom momo next time, and Mango Lassi to drink. 24 pieces of momo for $36 not bad. If you want a sampler order the Combo Set, hidden at the bottom of the menu. This place is going to be very popular very soon!“

“this white girl loves me some pearl’s chicken. this is the second time this week i am ordering it. their fried chicken pieces are so damn good! full of flavor
crispiness and the chicken is wet and moist falls right off the bone. i slather it in honey and go mmmm the whole time i’m eating and sucking my fingers. the sweet potato pie comes warm and is delicious.
i liked their cole slaw. the only thing

“Today I was at the Wolf Road location on my lunch. Unfortunately when I sat down I set my drink down on the edge of my try and it spilled everywhere! I went to the counter and asked for a towel to clean up my mess. The gentleman working the register told me he’d take care of it. He came over with a towel and smile then clean up the mess I had made. He even refilled my soda which he had no obligation to do. Sorry I didn’t grab his name but he had a red hat on and curly hair in the back. I’m sure you have people making constant messes that needed attending to but you wouldn’t have known by your reaction to my blunder. I’m in a profession where service is a primary focus and this is what great service looks like. Thank you again for your help today!“

“I came in tonight (March 1) and the team working was amazing. Everyone was very friendly, polite, and genuinely caring. They made sure my food was fresh, hot, and exactly how I ordered it. I originally only planned on getting a burger, but their great attitude convinced me to add fries and a drink too.

This is honestly one of the few places I’ve been where the customer service really stands out. The burgers taste like they’re made with real cheese and quality ingredients. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this location to others.“

“Good is good and pretty cheap, just wish it was easier to get to from the 87 bus, since trying to go to/from Wendy’s onto the bus requires almost running through traffic
