“The Copperhead Club in Peekskill is truly a hidden gem! I went with my kids on Christmas Eve last year, and it was such a special experience—the food was absolutely delicious, and the service was outstanding. Since then, I’ve been back often, especially for happy hour, and it never disappoints. One of my absolute favorites is their onion dip with chips—it’s honestly the best I’ve ever had! It takes me right back to the holidays—Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter—when my family would always have onion dip, Copperhead takes it to a whole other level. Their homemade peanut butter shot is also incredible (with whiskey, I believe)—smooth, unique, and dangerously good. The chef, bartenders, and waitstaff are all so kind and welcoming. The atmosphere feels like family, and to top it off, the sunsets over the Hudson River right across the street are some of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. The Copperhead Club isn’t just a place to grab a drink or a meal—it’s a true treasure in Peekskill. “Fun little place with good cocktails and inexpensive flights. The bartender was a delight too. Know that it can get a little warm in there in the Summer. The regular bourbon and cask-strength bourbon were both really good (though I liked them better on ice). The apple brandy was a little weird.“

“The best wings in the HV and crew! Duane, Jimmy, Lisa and Max are the best! They have a diverse selection of 20 beers on tap with a nice rotation of new styles and breweries. The food is great, and very reasonably priced. Like the beers on tap, there are also 20+ flavors for their wings. I'm generally a hot buffalo fan but, if you can tolerate the heat, I recommend the Psycho sauce which is hot, but very tasty. They also have a unique and very tasty Thai peanut butter and raspberry sauce wing option. Other go to's for me are the mozzarella sticks, ripper hotdogs and blooming onion petals.“

“Such a great and friendly atmosphere to play a few games of pool or dart, good drink prices, good people and even if you’re a stranger you can feel like it’s your own local watering hole. I especially like the pool table bc it’s regulation size and of top quality. I don’t know about you but that makes a huge difference! I highly recommend Tags tavern any night or day of the week.“

“Had a great experience here! The food was delicious with that classic American comfort food vibe, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Our server, Tammy, was especially outstanding. She was friendly, attentive, and checked on us throughout the meal without ever being intrusive. She made sure we had everything we needed and really helped make the experience enjoyable. Great service can make all the difference, and Tammy definitely delivered. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in upstate New York.“

“First time here. Great spot to chill out. They had a live DJ (DJ Big Will) who was spinning some great songs for the evening. The food was good (had some cheeseburger sliders and fries) the bartender was great. I'm not a big drinker, but they had these hard ciders that were very good. Definitely a nice spot I can see coming back to.“

“Nice mexican restaurant with bar, went looking for a place to watch World Cup games and this place rocks. Food is decent, tacos are ok, good variety in their menu. Today i had a tostada but it wasnt great, will have to try something else on the menu...but did order an assortment of tacos that were good. Hot sauces are good too and home made. Beer and drink specials during the games which made it a great experience. This place hets busy during the games so be ready! Will go back soon to watch other games later this month!“
