“Their double double burger is so good and their truffle fries are a hit! You will not miss with that :) we order also a pretzel as an entree and it was pretty good, specially the cheese sauce. I love the open patio, but I wish they had the patio umbrellas, so you get a little shadow from the sun. The servers are nice but the service is a little slow. So be patient, when the food arrives is going to be worth it.“
“Stopped here with wife over the weekend. We had fish grinder sandwich and cheesesteak with onion rings. Everything was great including the onion rings which were cooked perfectly. Service was great. I Wanted to add after reviewing the comments on here about the owner. We are from out of town and were greeted at door by Doug who led us to our table. We stayed about 1 hr and when we left he was outside we said goodbye and he said goodbye no issues. Definitely will return when in area again.“
“Great burger, great appetizers and a slew of fantastic drinks. There seem to be more staff and folks tending the bar that I seem to remember over the last couple of years but there's nothing wrong with that. For the locals the wherehouse is definitely a comfortable place to go, a great place to hang out on the weekends especially in the summer. Tons of parking around the area and lots of other little things to go and see as well on Liberty street. But with the live music and the good food you can spend a couple hours here without a problem.“
“I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Mansion in Newburgh, New York, and I must say, it was an experience beyond expectations. The management and staff were incredibly hospitable, making sure every moment was enjoyable. Not only that, but the recent changes they've made have truly elevated the experience. From the ambiance to the entertainment, everything felt refined and top-notch.I HIGHLY recommend upgrading to bottle service and VIP. It's the perfect way to indulge and make unforgettable memories.Overall, The Mansion is a must-visit destination for anyone looking for a fantastic night out. I can't wait to return!“
“I have visited this restaurant twice. That is a positive sign by itself. Sotanos is located on Main Street in Fishkill, NY. The area is easy to get to as it it right off of I 84 and Route 9, a major thoroughfare. There is ample parking in the back of this white, quaint, vintage house turned into an eatery. That's a good thing because at peak hours, there is no Street parking to be found. You will be greated immediately upon arrival and seated in one of the dining areas to the left OR at the small bar to your right. We ordered fried calamari and shrimp ? wrapped in bacon ? as appetizers. A universal truth is that bacon makes everything taste better! Both were tasty and devoured so fast that I forgot to take pretty, unmolested pictures of them. You will notice immediately that the portions here are adequate, so you do not feel robbed, but unless you had gastro surgery, there will not be a lot of take out boxes clogging up your refrigerator You get JUST enough with lots of sauce to trick the ? eyes into thinking ? the plates ? are loaded. The main courses ordered were a fillet mignon with scallops and a "crispy" duck that was not crispy at all. Reportedly, the duck was delicious, but the crispy description was on the menu. The steak was a good grade, tender, and prepared to my liking. The scallops were some of the best ? that I ever had. As you can see in the picture, you don't get many of them. Gelato as a desert is my recommendation. The service was excellent. I like the non rushed eating experience on well spaced tables on beautiful, 100 year old broad plank floors. The bathroom was clean. I can see a pretty good wait for this room if the place is crowded. If memory serves me, it is a single use bathroom. It's a VERY nice place to go for a delicious meal, perhaps for a special occasion. I would and will absolutely visit again unless I can find a comparable restaurant with slightly larger portions for the price. Sotanos is a wonderful experience although not a great value. Your mileage may vary. Enjoy!Parking: May spots in the rearKid-friendliness: Kristen was informative and attentive.“
“On our way down Main Street, we were drawn into Reserva from the live music playing inside. We changed our plans and decided to grab a bite here. The menu is pretty limited, as it is a wine bar. But the food was very good. The croissants melted in your mouth! The quiche was absolutely delicious. Everything tasted fresh. I was disappointed that they do not offer pão de queijo on Sundays.“
“A great late night spot if you wanna have a few drinks or watch a game and have some food. It’s cash only which I don’t love but they do have an ATM inside so that makes it easier. The staff is very friendly and I’ve had a great time every time I’ve been there. Definitely a great local spot.“
“Step into Greg's cozy, narrow bar, where the warmth of friendship envelopes you like a familiar embrace. With John and Hannah at your service, it's more than just a place to drink – it's a haven where locals become family. Each visit feels like coming home, welcomed with open arms and leaving with memories cherished like treasures. Cheers to Greg, John, and Hannah for creating a sanctuary where every patron is not just a guest, but a beloved member of the family.“
“Best Restaurant Ever! Top 5 of all time! We had lunch there today- everything was delicious! Smoked Brisket, sausage, pulled pork, awesome Mac & Cheese, Baked Beans. Great food & service. Friendly, helpful Staff. So much food and fun. We all took to go boxes Even in pouring rain the view and atmosphere was terrific. We will be back!“
“Only took off 1 star because there's nothing on tap. Pizza is homemade from scratch in a proper pizza oven and DELICIOUS! Service is friendly and feels like home in the best of ways. Karaoke Thursday nights 7-10 PM, kind host and supportive, enthusiastic crowd!Parking: No spots in the small lot? Park next to the fence all along the block!“
“I ordered the porchetta sandwich. It looked better than it tasted. The ciabatta was not a true ciabatta and did not go with the sandwich. The porchetta was just crisped up pork belly and was skimpy on the portion considering the price of the sandwich. The waitress said I can substitute the fries for any of the sides but didn't state there would be an upcharge. There was tiny fine print under the sandwiches that says they'll be an upcharge but it's very easy to overlook. I opted for the warm cabbage side which was very tasty and would order again. My friend ordered the beet salad and that looked amazing. I'd suggest trying that and if I go again I'll order that instead.Lastly, the water glass had lipstick on it. I wasn't wearing any. When I asked for a fresh and clean water glass, there was no acknowledgement about the lipstick, even after I pointed it out. That was unprofessional, in my opinion as a former waitress and bartender.Overall, will I go back? Eventually, yes but it's towards the bottom of the list of things to do.“
“Situated in an old ammunition depot, the recently renovated first class, or "firstie", club has a much more exclusive and bespoke feeling than the days of yore. Gone are the sticky floors, the dripping roof from the back room, the broken foosball tables, the jukebox that seemed to host only various versions of the song, "Wagon Wheel", or the bartenders that would serve you a pitcher of Jack and a pitcher of Coke on a Thursday just because you asked for it. taco Tuesday and wing Wednesday are pretty popular, as is Thursday evening following spirit dinner when the place is packed with the sons and daughters of slum and gravy. Extensive selection of beer on tap, and the menu is generally very good. Their version of a clucking Russian is as good and attempt at re-creating perfection as I have seen. Worth a visit.“
“The owner would have made John Taffer very happy, from entering looking for a table until we were ready to leave the service was impeccable, the ribs, wings, curly fries and the specialty beers on tap were amazing, did I also mention it was happy hour amazing place.“
“Really cool distillery in Beacon NY. Worth checking out and trying a drink at the bar. We spoke to a distiller on site and he explained a lot of the process, very down to earth. Overall cool spot to check out. We took home a bunch of nibs for friends and family to try.“
“We had heard from a few folks the wings here were quite good. They are!!! 12 large wings for $12 cooked and seasoned exceptionally well. I had the Psycho sauce variety with good heat lots of flavour. For my money it's here and Brothers for the very best wings in eastern Orange County.“
“Have only preferred takeout from this place Attempted once to eat inside but quickly changed my mind and ordered takeout instead (it's so close to home I'd rather eat at home. Food traveled well and tasted fresh and leaves you satisfied and amazed that food this good can be so close to home. Can't speak of service in restaurant but with take out that do well .“
“Although I only recently started going to this pub, Kyle and his team do an excellent job. Food is good. Service is good. Watch out for Kyle's shuffle board skills. You may leave a few less bucks! Definitely going to be a regular joint for me.“
“You don't want to miss this place! The views alone make it worth a stop but the food puts the experience over the top. I'm not usually a mid-day cocktail drinker, but the bar menu is too good to pass up. Don't sleep on the dumplings. You won't be disappointed.“
“DBC is so consistent with their amazing food and service that it makes it hard to go try other places when you know you will get consistency here. Great and tasty beer. Amazing burgers. So delicious fries! Appetizers all yummy. I came recently on a night with my wife and something that stood out for me that visit was when I watched one of the owners clearing a table. I made sure to make to tell them how admirable that was but so often you will see managers in other restaurants telling others to clean while they stand and watch them. The fact that the owners help out on the small tasks means how invested they are with their staff and business. We just asked my 4 year old last night what his favorite restaurant is and he said with confidence Dutchess Bier Cafe! Not sure if you’re aware but 4 year olds are picky eaters and he loves their burgers, fries, and makes sure that he can get the malt vinegar aioli! Thank you for being consistent but truly amazing!Kid-friendliness: My boys 4 and 7 love going and eating their Lil Dutchies!“
“Cute spot- definately Kozy! Good food and good service. One of the very few places with a simple classic dessert menu. (Yes its good- why mess with a good thing?) We had the apple crumble. This is right on Main street so parking can be a little funky. There are a few spaces in back though around the way. Highly recommended.UPDATE: Last visit was terrible. Party of 7. Waitresses were rude and grouchy. We all got the distinct impression they were under the influence of something. (One of our party is an expert on that sort of thing). Our party has decided not to come back any time soon. Get it together- this was extremely disappointing.“
“Needed a quick stop for some good food on a long drive from CT to the Cakskills. Something better than the usual chains. My girlfriend found Eleven 11 online and we are pleased she did. Stopped by late afternoon - just a few minutes off I-84. Service was friendly, helpful and attentive. The food was great - I had the steak sandwich and she had the tuna tartare and fries. Drinks were reasonable, and the atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. A perfect stop. I would dine here again.Dietary restrictions: Plenty of variety and good with allergies.Parking: Parking right behind the restaurant“
“Try this place. There’s a pool table, dart boards, and don’t get me started on the food. Definitely try the birria tacos, or the loaded fries. The bartenders know what they are doing and the place is CLEAN. Karaoke on Wednesdays, DJs, local events.“
“This bar has that old ruff look. We really liked it there. They had a small menu and a good size craft beer drafts. We ordered mozzarella sticks and spicy garlic Parmesan wings. Food was great! The wings were big! We ordered a couple zombie Dust Ale from 3 Floyd's brewing. The beer was excellent!“
“If you want the feel of your neighborhood bar while away visiting West Point, stop at South Gate Tavern. Food was ok, stay away from the friend ravioli. They definitely have cold beer but even better, the conversations w the bartenders. Both made it feel like I was a regular for years. Just remember to bring cash, they don't accept CC but they do have an ATM on site.“
“Great spot for a beer in the back of this barber shop. Staff was friendly and the menus are easy to read and browse from (all on paper). A lot of seating which was good for my group of 7 people. I'll be back when I'm in Cold Spring again!“
