“The owner would have made John Taffer very happy, from entering looking for a table until we were ready to leave the service was impeccable, the ribs, wings, curly fries and the specialty beers on tap were amazing, did I also mention it was happy hour amazing place.“
“DBC is so consistent with their amazing food and service that it makes it hard to go try other places when you know you will get consistency here. Great and tasty beer. Amazing burgers. So delicious fries! Appetizers all yummy. I came recently on a night with my wife and something that stood out for me that visit was when I watched one of the owners clearing a table. I made sure to make to tell them how admirable that was but so often you will see managers in other restaurants telling others to clean while they stand and watch them. The fact that the owners help out on the small tasks means how invested they are with their staff and business. We just asked my 4 year old last night what his favorite restaurant is and he said with confidence Dutchess Bier Cafe! Not sure if you’re aware but 4 year olds are picky eaters and he loves their burgers, fries, and makes sure that he can get the malt vinegar aioli! Thank you for being consistent but truly amazing!Kid-friendliness: My boys 4 and 7 love going and eating their Lil Dutchies!“
“Cute spot- definately Kozy! Good food and good service. One of the very few places with a simple classic dessert menu. (Yes its good- why mess with a good thing?) We had the apple crumble. This is right on Main street so parking can be a little funky. There are a few spaces in back though around the way. Highly recommended.UPDATE: Last visit was terrible. Party of 7. Waitresses were rude and grouchy. We all got the distinct impression they were under the influence of something. (One of our party is an expert on that sort of thing). Our party has decided not to come back any time soon. Get it together- this was extremely disappointing.“
“Needed a quick stop for some good food on a long drive from CT to the Cakskills. Something better than the usual chains. My girlfriend found Eleven 11 online and we are pleased she did. Stopped by late afternoon - just a few minutes off I-84. Service was friendly, helpful and attentive. The food was great - I had the steak sandwich and she had the tuna tartare and fries. Drinks were reasonable, and the atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. A perfect stop. I would dine here again.Dietary restrictions: Plenty of variety and good with allergies.Parking: Parking right behind the restaurant“
“Pool players palace! DIAMOND table close to Pizza, Guatemalan, Latin, Jamaican and Wendy's local restaurants, enjoy a bag a chips and ice cold beer. SUNDAY NFL ticket, directTV. Paint and sip night, bingo, it's whatever goes! Local Tavern that support Firefighters and our Military! Stop in and Support Local “
“Consistently friendly and comfortable bar. Sean the bartender is very attentive with your orders and if you're a regular you're definitely going to have your pint getting set up while you make your way to the bar. They have a couple of beer snacks available behind the counter if you feel peckish. A very spacious area that can hold group meetings or get togethers and there is a ping pong table and pool table as well which are both regulation size if you're feeling up to it. There is music playing in the background but you can also request your own through the TouchTunes app. The street parking as well but you should definitely Park in the rear of the buildings.“
“I always get just about the same thing each time I go but last time I tried something different and I didn’t like it. As soon as I told our server he said that he would get me something else. The manager said ok and then I got my French Dip like I usually get. It was awesome!“
“The Falcon is an absolutely wonderful place. Not only is the venue itself great but so is the food, the atmosphere, the museum that they have, the staff, and the support that they offer to the artists that perform there is beyond stellar. The Falcon is well worth a stop.“
“Great burger, great appetizers and a slew of fantastic drinks. There seem to be more staff and folks tending the bar that I seem to remember over the last couple of years but there's nothing wrong with that. For the locals the wherehouse is definitely a comfortable place to go, a great place to hang out on the weekends especially in the summer. Tons of parking around the area and lots of other little things to go and see as well on Liberty street. But with the live music and the good food you can spend a couple hours here without a problem.“
“I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Mansion in Newburgh, New York, and I must say, it was an experience beyond expectations. The management and staff were incredibly hospitable, making sure every moment was enjoyable. Not only that, but the recent changes they've made have truly elevated the experience. From the ambiance to the entertainment, everything felt refined and top-notch.I HIGHLY recommend upgrading to bottle service and VIP. It's the perfect way to indulge and make unforgettable memories.Overall, The Mansion is a must-visit destination for anyone looking for a fantastic night out. I can't wait to return!“
“On our way down Main Street, we were drawn into Reserva from the live music playing inside. We changed our plans and decided to grab a bite here. The menu is pretty limited, as it is a wine bar. But the food was very good. The croissants melted in your mouth! The quiche was absolutely delicious. Everything tasted fresh. I was disappointed that they do not offer pão de queijo on Sundays.“
“Best Restaurant Ever! Top 5 of all time! We had lunch there today- everything was delicious! Smoked Brisket, sausage, pulled pork, awesome Mac & Cheese, Baked Beans. Great food & service. Friendly, helpful Staff. So much food and fun. We all took to go boxes Even in pouring rain the view and atmosphere was terrific. We will be back!“
“Recently attended a weekend wedding affair. Every event was wonderful and our rooms were perfect. Able to walk from one event to the next made things so convenient .But we were particularly impressed by every staff member. From the check in to the wait staff they could not have been more professional, efficient and down right lovely to work with.“
“Step into Greg's cozy, narrow bar, where the warmth of friendship envelopes you like a familiar embrace. With John and Hannah at your service, it's more than just a place to drink – it's a haven where locals become family. Each visit feels like coming home, welcomed with open arms and leaving with memories cherished like treasures. Cheers to Greg, John, and Hannah for creating a sanctuary where every patron is not just a guest, but a beloved member of the family.“
“Only took off 1 star because there's nothing on tap. Pizza is homemade from scratch in a proper pizza oven and DELICIOUS! Service is friendly and feels like home in the best of ways. Karaoke Thursday nights 7-10 PM, kind host and supportive, enthusiastic crowd!Parking: No spots in the small lot? Park next to the fence all along the block!“
“A great late night spot if you wanna have a few drinks or watch a game and have some food. It’s cash only which I don’t love but they do have an ATM inside so that makes it easier. The staff is very friendly and I’ve had a great time every time I’ve been there. Definitely a great local spot.“
“It's not a very big restaurant, but it has charm; a very vibrant atmosphere. This is not a likely place to see a restaurant as for location. The fact is that it is full at 4p.m. on cold rainy Saturday, speaks volumes. And now I am going to RAVE about the food. Starting with appetizers- Hot antipasto. You can taste every herb and savor on the signature flavor right into the homemade stuffed clams, stuffed ?, stuffed pepper, eggplant rollatini, and shrimp. I have posted pictures of all. I ordered stuffed mushrooms, and my recommendation- if you don't order these handmade, perfectly cooked, flavorful mushrooms in a wine sauce like I've never tasted in my experience, you will have missed out on thee best sauce ever tasted. I could drink it by the gallon and put it on anything. Yes! That delicious. The main dishes come with salad, which was fresh and equally delicious with their house balsamic dressing. The veal and shrimp marsala was amazing, with the choice of side we went with broccoli garlic and oil. Perfect texture and flavoring, not any heavy taste of oil. The veal and shrimp francese was a little much with the lemon. Desert was delicious, lemon? But show the picture, and they will know. This brings me to what made such an experience with fine food, so ? I have to give our waiter, Andrew, much praise for his recommendations and nature in being attentive in knowing when we needed assistance and checking in to make sure we were satisfied. With that, my review is a finely quality restaurant with food and staffing, making it a place we will sure to go to again. For you viewers, it is a must do to experience at least once.Parking: Right off the Taconic North bound.Kid-friendliness: Family oriented, kids are a yesWheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair entry and can move chairs for any persons needing the space for ♿️“
“You don't want to miss this place! The views alone make it worth a stop but the food puts the experience over the top. I'm not usually a mid-day cocktail drinker, but the bar menu is too good to pass up. Don't sleep on the dumplings. You won't be disappointed.“
“Great atmosphere at Locust Grove. We always feel welcome here.Crystal is always amazing and can't do enough for us.Chip, Peggy, and Jim are always friendly and make you feel like everyone knows your name.Theres always something going on, whether it's trivia, corn hole, line dancing or something else.Large selection of ciders and local beers. If you don't try Locust Grove, you're missing out.“
“What's not to love? This Wappingers spot is right in town, they serve up tasty food, quality beverages, and the staff will treat you well. The bar is quite nice, and definitely clean. Even better, when it's nice outside, there's an adorable back deck that's perfect for sipping a cider, or one of their serious selection of craft beers on tap. There are also cocktails available, but they seem to truly care about the tap selection. Right now they've got a 16% ABV stout out of Brooklyn on tap, which is downright dangerous. This seems like the rare bar that not only fries things well, but it also cares about the rest of its menu too. No one is ever sad about bang bang shrimp and chicken fingers and fries (we order like adults around here), but the salads are very solid as well. There are even vegetarian and vegan options for your friends who aren't quite as meaty (technical term). And that's all I have to say about that.“
“Really cool distillery in Beacon NY. Worth checking out and trying a drink at the bar. We spoke to a distiller on site and he explained a lot of the process, very down to earth. Overall cool spot to check out. We took home a bunch of nibs for friends and family to try.“
“Situated in an old ammunition depot, the recently renovated first class, or "firstie", club has a much more exclusive and bespoke feeling than the days of yore. Gone are the sticky floors, the dripping roof from the back room, the broken foosball tables, the jukebox that seemed to host only various versions of the song, "Wagon Wheel", or the bartenders that would serve you a pitcher of Jack and a pitcher of Coke on a Thursday just because you asked for it. taco Tuesday and wing Wednesday are pretty popular, as is Thursday evening following spirit dinner when the place is packed with the sons and daughters of slum and gravy. Extensive selection of beer on tap, and the menu is generally very good. Their version of a clucking Russian is as good and attempt at re-creating perfection as I have seen. Worth a visit.“
“Their double double burger is so good and their truffle fries are a hit! You will not miss with that :) we order also a pretzel as an entree and it was pretty good, specially the cheese sauce. I love the open patio, but I wish they had the patio umbrellas, so you get a little shadow from the sun. The servers are nice but the service is a little slow. So be patient, when the food arrives is going to be worth it.“
“Great spot for a beer in the back of this barber shop. Staff was friendly and the menus are easy to read and browse from (all on paper). A lot of seating which was good for my group of 7 people. I'll be back when I'm in Cold Spring again!“
“We had heard from a few folks the wings here were quite good. They are!!! 12 large wings for $12 cooked and seasoned exceptionally well. I had the Psycho sauce variety with good heat lots of flavour. For my money it's here and Brothers for the very best wings in eastern Orange County.“
“We happened to stop in on Easter Sunday without a reservation. Luckily enough we were able to sit at the bar, which was amazing. Luke, the bartender steered us in the right direction for food and their amble beer selection. Will not only be back but will tell anyone heading in that area to go.“
“Got catering for our office lunch. Dawn was so wonderful to work with placing our order. We got wraps, wings(my personal favorite!!) and sides. The food was delicious!! Everyone enjoyed it so much they are our new go to for future catering needs.“
“My first time here. A couple of friends who’ve visited establishment numerous had treated us to dinner here. Nice looking place! I am loving and digging that chef statue they have near the entrance. Brings back some fond memories of being a chef and cook who had worked in several of food establishments! I had the 12 ounce burger with French fries and American cheese. Burger was cooked to perfection well done. Fries had good flavor. Sampling the onion rings and salad for appetizers while awaiting main course. Waitress Maddie and her assistant I didn’t get the gentleman’s name they both provided excellent service!! Very attentive and thorough with any questions we had about the foods we ordered. Food was excellent I enjoyed everything! Had a blast! I don’t eat out often much anymore but this was a great treat and experience! Rest of company also ordered burgers and was happy with everything! Yeehaw! Hoorah!?“
“This bar has that old ruff look. We really liked it there. They had a small menu and a good size craft beer drafts. We ordered mozzarella sticks and spicy garlic Parmesan wings. Food was great! The wings were big! We ordered a couple zombie Dust Ale from 3 Floyd's brewing. The beer was excellent!“
“So yes, we LOVE Mexican food!! We try a lot of different Mexican restaurants... this one was good, but have had better. The Queso was a little different than we expected and rice didn't seem to have as much flavor as others I've tried but everyone has their days. I did like that you got rice with tacos though. The place was nice, a bit tight, but still a great atmosphere and feel. It was a bit busy so service was a bit slow.“
“Try this place. There’s a pool table, dart boards, and don’t get me started on the food. Definitely try the birria tacos, or the loaded fries. The bartenders know what they are doing and the place is CLEAN. Karaoke on Wednesdays, DJs, local events.“
“PLEASE GO IF YOU ARE IN TOWN!! It was Saturday night, 2/10/24. I was in town with a relative and Went to Main Street in Beacon alone. I just wanted to see what the town was like and all of a sudden. The whole town went black!! Lights appeared In front of me, the only thing that was lit up in the town. The music entertainment was fun and appropriate for the atmosphere. Very talented guys. I went there as a southern lady from Ga, kind of skeptical about going in alone, but I was greeted with a friendly smile from the girl bartender. I had a wonderful few minutes speaking with a gentleman in this establishment. After speaking with him a few minutes, it turned out he was the owner of Max's Place. Wow was he nice and welcoming. I would have never guessed he was the owner. This place I recommend sincerely because the service is amazing and the atmosphere is very friendly and fun. I'm happy the town went black and I found this cozy place to go in and sit to rest my feet, after being in the city all day walking. Having a cold beer at the bar was nice. No one messed with me. So, thank you to the young lady bartending, whom I don't know her name, and to the gentleman who made me feel comfortable at the bar (the owner) Sorry, I am not positive of his name and I won't assume that it is Max.“
“Fabulous jewel of Newburgh! We dined at Pamela's On the Hudson last night with friends. it was our first-time dining there, but it will definitely not be the last! The food was delicious, the service was great and the atmosphere was welcoming. You also get a beautiful view of the Hudson River! We met Pamela last night after dinner and told her what a great dining experience we had and that we will definitely be back!“
“It has the original Lost World game. Those who know should be excited. I do wish a bit more love was given to the machine - the guns need recalibrating and the screen dipped out a few times. Still, the fact they HAD it - and also had a tekken 3 cabinet, deserves 5 stars in my opinion.“
“I am banned for life, by the woman who said "you were singing to the music, and talking to people!!" And she went on to call me a "drunk person", and to cruelly announce that it was "a bar" ; not a place for "talking to people" abput my misding chindten, or "singing" along with the jukebox, and that she "don't care!" about missing children. Before that I had a few pleasant conversations about the food there, vand saw some very friendly and warm faces:I have gone there since my childhood. There is a picture that is supposedlye: I was there, and did look similar, and I have discovered that I have an identical twin, who grew up in Wyoming; Niko said there is a third who also lived in Newburgh, but I have not yet seen him. This pub, band it's patrons are cool; there were a handful of very mean people there that nightOh well; I can add it to the many other groceries, libraries, pubs, restaurants, parks, bus stations, and two whole entire cities that I am recently and permanently banned for life from, including Brandywine PA; it is called mobbing, hazing, gangstalking, shunning, discrediting, blackballing, and and black-listing.This is a hometown favorite pub;God bless everyone.Yes, I did say a bad word as I was threatened cruelly and physically by her boyfriend to "leave!"Recommended; twenty stars; a "good" hometown place with nice steamers for a buck !“
“Hidden little gem right on the boarder of Wappingers off 9d. Its full of inviting staff, great drinks and REALLY GOOD FOOD! My personal favorite meal is the Sweet Mother Clucker that has this homemade smokey ranch on it….the ranch is out of this world (I want it on everything). They also have unique flavorful specials that change weekly, you don’t want to miss out on. My friends and I strongly recommend AJs cafe. Whether you’re a local, new to the area, or crossing through Wappingers it’s a great place to go.Parking: Depending on the time of day you might not be able to park right in front of the door but if you don’t mind walking less than a min there is always parking a little further away from the building. It’s a safe quiet street.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“Wings are to die for. Service is great because bartender's get to know your name which makes you feel welcomed. Ambiance is not what a bar called the Barking Frog is all about but the people are good, the food is great and the music (or games) are always on“
“First time here and wow! I wish I lived closer to this restaurant. Comfy atmosphere, right next to a pretty scenic waterfall too.Friendly service, great food and fast.Super clean bathroom. Easy parking Excellent all around. Highly recommend.“
“I have visited this restaurant twice. That is a positive sign by itself. Sotanos is located on Main Street in Fishkill, NY. The area is easy to get to as it it right off of I 84 and Route 9, a major thoroughfare. There is ample parking in the back of this white, quaint, vintage house turned into an eatery. That's a good thing because at peak hours, there is no Street parking to be found. You will be greated immediately upon arrival and seated in one of the dining areas to the left OR at the small bar to your right. We ordered fried calamari and shrimp ? wrapped in bacon ? as appetizers. A universal truth is that bacon makes everything taste better! Both were tasty and devoured so fast that I forgot to take pretty, unmolested pictures of them. You will notice immediately that the portions here are adequate, so you do not feel robbed, but unless you had gastro surgery, there will not be a lot of take out boxes clogging up your refrigerator You get JUST enough with lots of sauce to trick the ? eyes into thinking ? the plates ? are loaded. The main courses ordered were a fillet mignon with scallops and a "crispy" duck that was not crispy at all. Reportedly, the duck was delicious, but the crispy description was on the menu. The steak was a good grade, tender, and prepared to my liking. The scallops were some of the best ? that I ever had. As you can see in the picture, you don't get many of them. Gelato as a desert is my recommendation. The service was excellent. I like the non rushed eating experience on well spaced tables on beautiful, 100 year old broad plank floors. The bathroom was clean. I can see a pretty good wait for this room if the place is crowded. If memory serves me, it is a single use bathroom. It's a VERY nice place to go for a delicious meal, perhaps for a special occasion. I would and will absolutely visit again unless I can find a comparable restaurant with slightly larger portions for the price. Sotanos is a wonderful experience although not a great value. Your mileage may vary. Enjoy!Parking: May spots in the rearKid-friendliness: Kristen was informative and attentive.“
