“Wow, what a great place. The only healthy place that's open overnight on the Island. Everything else is fast food. I also think they have the best chicken with rice... yes, I called it that. Not chicken over rice. They're very generous with their chicken portion. I've noticed they put 3 scoops of it whereas other places put 2. The rice is flavorful without the overpowered spices that other places use. The salad is nice and crisp without cilantro which I hate. Also great amount of white sauce. Friendly staff, too.“

“Moved from queens and I'm so glad I found this spot. Tried the lamb gyro and the whiting fish. Both the lamb and the fish were so tender. I love the freshness of the cucumbers, onions, and lettuce, the colors were beautiful and so clean tasting, they also made it super saucy which won my heart. This is gonna be my goto halal food spot for a quality quick bite.“

“this place has been a place i visit all the time over the years. A man by the name Rafiki who's an absolutely wonderful person. He's always greeting me and knows me and my friend with a smile. He makes this place a second home away from home and makes me feel so welcomed when i sit down to eat.“

“Shah’s Halal is clean, welcoming and has an excellent array of very fresh food. We are all used to fast food but waiting 3-5 minutes for a perfect falafel is worth it. The staff will help you pick out just what you need to eat, even if you’re not sure what you want. Vegetarians have many choices here, all delicious. Highly recommend!“

“Called to make a reservation this past Saturday and spoke to Muhammed who was extremely accommodating. Drove from Oakdale and arrived at 6:30, table was ready and we were quickly seated. The place is very small but we were comfortable and not rushed at all.
Now for the food..... Chicken Korma and Chicken Mango were delicious as was the Eggplant Bharta. Spice levels were perfect and portions generous. Naan was great as well.
Thank you Muhammed for the dessert and we can't wait to return.

“10/10!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! This is only place that has BIG portions for CHEAP!
Definitely recommend the chicken over rice platter and the lamb platter the NAZ HALAL WAY with French fries and pita bread on top ! Also the sweet corn nuggets and mozzarella sticks are JUICY AND DELICIOUS THEY ARE MUST TRY ITEMS! My husband LOVES the chopped cheese sandwich even though the sandwich doesn’t come with fries it’s very big and filling. The only thing that is disappointing is whenever I order at the store I present my NAZ HALAL APP to gain points and use my rewards but unfortunately EVERY TIME the cashiers ALWAYS say they will not scan my app or use my rewards to get $$ off my order. I am hoping that issue can be resolved !“

“Best Halal food in Deer Park. I ordered the fish over rice and it was absolutely delicious! The dish came with salad, bread and rice with extra white sauce. Personally, I prefer King Halal over Naz and Shah. Some people think that Naz, Shah and King Halal are the same. Trust me, King Hala is much delicious. I also would like to mention that you get the same taste every time you eat it.“
