“Wow, what a great place. The only healthy place that's open overnight on the Island. Everything else is fast food. I also think they have the best chicken with rice... yes, I called it that. Not chicken over rice. They're very generous with their chicken portion. I've noticed they put 3 scoops of it whereas other places put 2. The rice is flavorful without the overpowered spices that other places use. The salad is nice and crisp without cilantro which I hate. Also great amount of white sauce. Friendly staff, too.“

Portions are spot on and heavy. 👍
Only complaint is the restaurant is hot. (No AC) so take-out is encouraged. Or just wear a t-shirt.

“Went in probably 10 minutes before closing at 2am and the man working was very hospitable and helpful. The food came out quick and was delicious, too. Got the chicken platter and a chicken sandwich and both were fantastic. Definitely recommend.“

“Shah’s Halal is clean, welcoming and has an excellent array of very fresh food. We are all used to fast food but waiting 3-5 minutes for a perfect falafel is worth it. The staff will help you pick out just what you need to eat, even if you’re not sure what you want. Vegetarians have many choices here, all delicious. Highly recommend!“

“Best Halal food in Deer Park. I ordered the fish over rice and it was absolutely delicious! The dish came with salad, bread and rice with extra white sauce. Personally, I prefer King Halal over Naz and Shah. Some people think that Naz, Shah and King Halal are the same. Trust me, King Hala is much delicious. I also would like to mention that you get the same taste every time you eat it.“

One of my favorite places in Huntington, and I have lived here my entire life. BUT it is now close to unaffordable. It used to be ~$10 for a wrap AND fries AND soda. Even $15 for all that would be more than reasonable. But their prices have recently jumped through the roof - $15 for just a wrap!? $10 for a large fry!? Ridiculous. Work on getting more customers, not icing out the customers that have been loyal to you for many, many years.
5 stars for fries and sauces, 4 stars for everything else. Wraps are good, wouldn't say great. Same with burgers. Fried chicken too processed, grilled is good!“
