“Phenomenal from start to finish!! We were lucky to have the place to ourselves for an early dinner. Dani, co-owner & chef, greeted us with a warm welcome. You could tell right away she had a genuine interest in making our experience special. We started out with a creamy, simple burrata that came with homemade focaccia. The bread was SO perfect. We each had salmon with Israeli couscous and broccolini. The salmon was cooked to perfection and paired nicely with the wine suggested by Dani. Then dessert…it was so difficult to pick just one!!! So we got three! Ana, the other owner, is the evil genius behind the to die for desserts!! Tiramisu, mascarpone cheesecake (we took it to go) and an apple cider donut with vanilla ice cream. (The donut was so absolutely divine that my boyfriend ordered a second serving!!) And can I just say the cappuccinos were on point! My mouth is watering just thinking about it all again! I hope others visit and enjoy the fabulous food, service and atmosphere at Mambo. We don’t live around the corner, but will definitely make the drive back because the whole experience was just that good. I wish Dani and Ana much success. “Chef Sergio and his staff are warm and welcoming! The food reflects his love of serving authentic dishes. The ingredients were top quality and the taste was flavorful. Every dish at this tasting was perfect and represented the menu perfectly. The artichoke was pure bliss, hand made parpadelle magic, branding delicious and so much more! Ask for extra bread to soak it up.\n\nAlso enjoyed the GIANT homemade lobster lasagna, although the pancetta dominated the flavors to the point it was not obvious there was lobster in there.\n\nGood, attentive service. Yesterday, when we got our order to Sloatsburg, there was an omission in the order ( we really should have checked before we left). As always, Dom’s went above and beyond to make this right. They drove my order to Sloatsburg and included several delicious extras! Their catering always makes our events delicious, but yesterday they made it extra delicious. Dom’s has amazing food and even better service.“

“On December 12th my law office had their holiday luncheon at this wonderful restaurant. I also ordered a tray of meat lasagna for Christmas. If you have never had the pleasure of eating at this restaurant, I suggest you run - do not pass go - and get your butt there and eat the most delicous food on this planet. The chef created the meat lasagna - a simple dish - and elevated to something that just melts in your mouth with deliciousness. LOVE LOVE LOVE this restaurant!!“

“My wife and I were there for a political function combo meeting and Christmas luncheon. This establishment is super clean, bright, and cozy. The food and wine were delicious. I had chicken parm. Was fantastic. Was batted down thin and breaded and seasoned to perfection. VERY tender, I only had to use my folk to cut. The marinara was fresh semi chunky lite delicious and perfect. The fresh bread came in handy to clean up my plate. My wife has a fresh pasta marinara dish and NO complaints there. The first time I walked in and the second time I called it in. I was very please with the phone order because the young man on the phone told me how much my order was if I was paying in cash or card (up charge for card). Twice, recently, I dined at I'l Fresco with friends and family members; The words they used to describe Il Fresco were: -Fabulous - dinner was scrumptious -Phenomenal restaurant and staff -Tastiest sauce in the world - delicious hot bread out of the oven. -An Exceptional dining experience. -Amazing homemade tiramisu - wonderful desserts -Best meal ever - better than the meals I had while visiting Sorrento, Italy. From my cousin who went back to Belfast, Northern Ireland: I am keen to get back to visit again and hopefully we can visit the fantastic restaurant again, can't remember the name otherwise it would be getting a 5 star from me. “I have Celiac disease, and it's difficult to find a restaurant with good gluten free food. Pastina's is definitely the place to go for a great meal. Pastina's has a gluten free Chicken Marsala dish that is delicious. This restaurant also has other gluten free options which I've had, that are equally as delicious.“

“After checking on our property, the Mrs& I finally had lunch here, we passed by many time and on the outside it looks tiny, but inside , they can cater & reserve a party for 20-25 . We came to have lunch on Friday , and wasn’t crowed because most people are at work, only the locals are here to socialize. We ate peacefully and enjoyed the food . Service was quick and fast, the decorations puts you in a scene of old Italy while listening to Italian music. We ordered : fried calamari/ fried meatballs , bolognese/ tortellini nonna, our meal was made well prepared fresh. Good portion . Very satisfying. They have lunch & dinner menu. Mario, the owner, personally delivered the food. It was delivered hot and packaged perfectly. My guests raved over everything from the bruschetta to the chicken, eggplant, pasta to the cannolis. It was as sensational as anything you would get in a 2 Michelin star restaurant. Simply superb. I preceded it with a spicy basil Margarita made by Francisco and a little gem salad with cubed sweet potato, radishes and feta with a delicious dressing. Serving us was Javier, the gold standard in his field. Kevin manned the front of the house that night and he was as charming as ever. Fratangelo is an incredibly talented chef and his wife an equally as gifted pastry chef. I urge you to sample their food. You will not be disappointed.“
