“My brother moved by this spot like a month ago and I know this place OH SO WELL. ? I’m in Freeport and I haven’t found empanadas as good as Mamma Gina’s. When I tell you the food just hits every time, they’re honestly so consistently great.Parking: It’s a small lot, so just take it slow turning into it.“
“Love Ceci's! I have been missing arepas since I moved from NYC to LI. I am so happy to discovered Ceci's. I usually get the chicken and avocado arepa. The cheese sticks and rice & beans are delicious add-ons. It is good for at least 2 meals but I usually eat most of it since it is so good.“
“My mom and I came to eat breakfast as it was recommended to us by a friend. I had huevos pericos con arepa y queso and it was delicious. My mom had the soup of the day and she said it was delicious & perfect for the cold weather. The portion are pretty big so the pricing seems fair. Although, it did seem a little pricey but everything in NY is. It nicely decorated inside. The service was great, everyone was super nice. All in all, had a great experience and will definitely come back again!“
“Came here for a quick lunch during my break. After moving to Long Island it is quite difficult to find a Spanish restaurant. I found this restaurant on google. When I arrived, I was immediately greeted. There are some people behind the counter that speak English but they speak mostly Spanish. I do speak Spanish, but it was good to know that there are other people that can speak English, because I wanted to share this restaurant with my colleagues at work and they do not speak Spanish. Everyone was friendly, kind, and helpful. I ordered the special of the day which was caldo de res (beef soup)- there is an option to order it "Complete" which comes with rice topped with beef stew, macaroni salad, and plantain. I got a Colombiana soda to go with it and it was perfect!!! it was nice, clean, bright inside and the bakery is to die for. I didn't get to take pictures of the empanadas and pan de queso I bought, but it's a MUST have. I would love to try their cakes next time, it looked so good!! they have a whole pastry/bread section. Definitely recommend this place“
“Delicious breaded fried chuletta served with salad, rice and beans, and maduras. Service is good. Wish I knew I'd be charged $9 for hot sauce though. Was there on Thursday night unaware it was Karaoke Night so it was very loud. Food never disappoints.“
“This is our favorite place to go for Colombian food in our area. The owners are very welcome, you are treated like family and the food is great always. One day with my husband we were in the mood to dance and the owner let us have our moment. The prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity ?. Esta es una excelente opción para toda la familia. Y los precios no son exagerados.“
“What a great little place! I had to go to the dentists next door and I thought I'd try it out! The staff is super nice, the food is really good and they even have some nice drinks. They had an afternoon drink special. I like how the owners decorated the place too. Que lugar pequeña pero bonito y buenisimo!“
“For me consistency is of utmost importance after taste. This is not my first time here. And I had to leave a review.. the food here is the best around.. the steaks (churassco/skirt steak) are soo tender and juicy,,, cooked to your liking. The decorations take you far away from the typical new york atmosphere to create a great eating experience. A+ definately returning.“
“The food was tasty and the waitresses are nice. A typical dinner is $20-$40 pp. I think it's a little pricey. They make birthday cakes and cookies and certain kinds of Spanish style bread. They look and taste nice. They warm their milk so you will definitely have a cup of hot coffee. They are the only restaurant I know that does that. Nice place for a fun date or family dinner.“
