“Review by a half Colombian regarding authenticity… food was delicious, fresh and really big portion size. What I liked most is the picada in other Colombian places is usually all fried but here they grill the chicken and steak. The kids fries with mini hotdogs was also huge for a kid size and great priced, couldent recommend this place enough to all of you. I will def be back for more.“

“My brother moved by this spot like a month ago and I know this place OH SO WELL. ? I’m in Freeport and I haven’t found empanadas as good as Mamma Gina’s. When I tell you the food just hits every time, they’re honestly so consistently great.
Parking: It’s a small lot, so just take it slow turning into it.“

“Dinner was amazing!! We did food pick-up for a family dinner. Brought the super Punto Rojo tray which had so much meat in it 1 order was enough for 4 of us for 2 meals (lots of chicken, steak and chicharron). Ordered extra rice and beans. Pastries were delicious as always. Love the fresh squeezed orange juice.“

“One of my favorite restaurants, the fresh empanadas and breads are always amazing. The waitresses are super helpful when you’re not sure what to order and there is one worker there who really helps if you don’t speak Spanish. He’s always very kind. I think at this point I’ve tried everything but the seafood there and it’s always a hit. Especially their soups.“

“This little place is so good! Always busy. The food is fresh and tasty! Pupusas, salvadoran tamales, chicken and rice, chicken soup, plantains!!!! Every time we’ve been we were too full to get dessert. Going to have to go back just to make a meal out of their desserts! Super friendly employees, great service, clean, very cute decor, good music! What’s not to love?“

“La Calidad is a small secret in the heart of Freeport. Located on Main Street, this bakery also serves as a restaurant where you can come and order some classic Colombian dishes. They keep their place clean, and the service there is pretty good. They welcome people of all ethnicity, and make you feel right at home. I come here some mornings just to get a quick bite to eat and they always serve my food in a timely manner and fresh off the grill.“
