“Thai Green Leaf is my favorite. The staff is unbelievably friendly and they always make my order how I love it (pad thai with dried tofu, extra lime). I have had occasion to place a few large orders (I am trying to introduce all my friends to the deliciousness) and everything is always fresh and fantastic). “Even though I have to travel from 5 towns over, I will do it time and again because I LOVE everything about Mama's. Their Chicken a la Mama, as well as their Granma Vodka pizza brings me to my knees without fail. I'm a bit picky (like extra lemon butter sauce and garlic knots please) but the staff always gets it right. You KNOW a restaurant is top notch when the staff smiles from the moment you walk through the door until you leave. Thank you for everything Mama's. I'll see you again VERY soon. “What a find! Nestled next to the Dunkin Donuts and where Rite Aid used to be. Well run establishment. Orders take some time but always come out perfect. Plus the food is cooked in less oily or starch heavy ways. I know there are times where one has to be in the mood for Chinese takeout but you won’t mind eating here a few nights in a row. So tasty and fresh. You don’t feel disgusted or bloated afterwards. It’s satisfying. You get something simple as chicken with vegetables and it’s delicious. The veggies are scrumptious. Don’t feel like chugging a gallon of water later either. Definitely a healthier option for takeout. Plus there’s a sushi bar with several options too. As well as several Japanese dishes cooked with tempura and ever popular miso. Started getting the soup instead of egg roll with my meal and it’s sublime. No worries about having to ask for or pay extra for white meat chicken. Again I can’t get over how fresh the food tastes and just the well fed feeling afterwards. Highly recommend this lovely little place.“

“I cannot BELIEVE that I have lived in Copiague for almost 2 years now and I have NOT been to Cantina Bay yet. Already one of my favorite places in the 3 Villages (Amityville, Copiague, Lindenhurst). Went back to back k Saturday and Sunday with my girlfriend. Going back tonight and again this weekend! See y'all there (am the tall Aryan looking dude - can't miss me ?)

I had the crumb chocolate cake with a cup of their coffee and wow—it hit the spot. The cake was rich and moist with a perfect crunchy topping, and the coffee was smooth and strong, not bitter at all. Simple, delicious, and just what I needed. Highly recommend if you’re craving a little treat!“

“I walked into this place without much research, just saw a high star rating and proximity from where I was at that time. I thought they offer traditional Japanese style ramen. If that’s what you are looking for, you will be disappointed. The staff, service, and overall vibe were great. I ordered the Classic ramen and it was nothing like the ramen I am used to. Although it was eatable, but too oily and black peppery, it was just a different kind of noodle soup dish. I have tried various styles of ramen in Japan so I can say safely that this is definitely “inspired” by them but not a traditional Japanese ramen.
I see many enjoyed their style so it seems to meet their tastes. Just not my bowl of ramen. That’s all. Again, super friendly staff. No hard feelings.“

“Visiting my childhood home town from Boston. Childhood friend and I drove by Bayview Kitchen on our way home. Initially thought it was a kitchen reno store then realized it was a restaurant. Decided to try. Always up for adventure. What a WOW! Staff from entry to restraunt were warm and friendly. Love the decor sleek and so clean. Service was great. Now the important part..the food. We both had the j*** chicken tostada which was super delicious. Ingredients were so fresh.. Right amount of spice and ingredients with a nice kick. Got a chance to speak with owner and chef. They were so proud of their restaurant and looking to hear our thoughts on our meal. We told them it was extra special. They are looking to provide fresh quality soul food to the community and I would say they exceeded our expectations. Wishing them success and looking to return on my next visit to Amityville. The outside stone work decor is so beautiful. Thank you for a great food experience. Give this place a try I believe you will not be disappointed.“

“Yesterday was the first time I have been to Popei’s. What a great night! From the moment we walked in the owner/chef greeted us. We sat outside in the tent with the great musician. He was very interactive, took requests. People were singing along, It’s was very enjoyable. It was very clear our waitress, Janice was extremely busy but also very thorough careful and caring. It’s obvious she cares about what she is doing and works very hard. Upon my ordering, I mentioned a food allergy Janice double checked that things were OK before she submitted the order. 2 other people came to verify before cooking my meal. The food was SO GOOD! Big portion sizes. Gave my mother dessert to celebrate her birthday. Overall, it was an absolutely fantastic night. We will be back. My only suggestion would be when the musician is taking a break to lower the background music. When he wasn’t singing, the music was still incredibly loud and we had difficulty hearing each other at the table.“

“This is insane how big the burritos are! Holy cow! They were very good too. Had no idea what to expect. This was our first meal in NY and it did not disappoint! Only downside was the burrito fell apart and no silverware was included so it was a mess. But that was it. Otherwise it was a slam dunk. Loved it. -Some fat southern folk.“

“We a party of 3 adults 2 young children go from brooklyn to long island just to go to PFchang. I will say the ride going i wasn't the happiest person however, We walk in greeted and seated quickly. Our non plant based family had the crispy chicken burger. We shared sweet potato fries, sweet potato tater tots and onion rings. The onion stayed in the coating when you bit in to them. “We came here on a thurs even around 6pm...Was pretty crowded but got a table in the middle..The sound level is pretty high at 3/4 capacity but somehow you seem to flow with it because of the atmosphere... People enjoying good mex food are more enjoyable to be around for some reason..anyway...lighting as with most place is difficult to read menu but once the order was in,alot of fun...I noticed the food to be very FRESH...I immediately tasted that in the beans on my Mexican special and the Flautas,chimichanga etc were all delicious stuffed and perfectly cooked!..Fajita steak was so nicely marinated and charred but med inside..Perfect!..Wait staff were all very pleasant....I enjoyed my visit and will defin visit during a slow day,maybe lunch for a lil more quiet....“
