“Me and the kids, older kids had dinner upstairs at Shands called the state room. Dinner and apps were great, just a bit pricey on the strip steak. 85. For a thin steak is a bit much. Wasn't quit cooked med rare, alittle toward med well. All in all it was a great night. Staff and bar tenders were awsome“

“Definitely 5-star service. I hired Up in Smoke for a family reunion in my back yard. All my pre-event dealings were with Jeff. He was so easy to work with. Willing to accommodate anything I requested. And since this was my first time using them I had tons of questions along the way. Jeff always got back to me immediately!! The menu had more than enough options to choose from and he even added chicken nuggets and fries since we had a ton of little kids. Worked with me on the pricing. Very fair. We had Alex and Bryan as our grilled and they worked no-stop for the entire time. Cleanup left not a trace. And I had tons of leftovers so plenty of food. Everyone was raving about the food! I highly recommend and would use them again in a heartbeat!! (Jeff also recommended wait staff who are not affiliated with them but have worked together often and they were great, too!) Joe is not only a great caterer but a lovely, friendly man who makes sure you are enjoying yourself while the party ran flawlessly. I’m not a real big meat eater but the Italian sausages are the best their prepared meals are super they slice your chicken to order etc. I can’t say enough good things about this establishment. I’ve tried many different specialty sandwiches they offer and they’re all amazing, but their BECs and BLTs are perfect for me, which is an important quality for delis in my opinion. Both BECs and BLTs here have perfect ratios with their ingredients and are never skimped out. Highly recommend this place if you just want a simple sandwich or if you wanna try any of their wide varieties of hot and cold sandwiches. Two recommendations first add rice this time of year to help with that clumping. Second show your counter person the difference between pepper and garlic.“
