“Stopped in late one evening off the thruway. Had the place to ourselves. The waitress came over to the table quickly and grabbed us something to drink. We ordered our food which came out timely and hot. All the Dennys have closed by us so it was nice to have Moons Over My Hammy again. The restaurant appeared clean as well but some of the booth cushions could be fixed as they had tears in the seats.“

“Jack and Ken’s Breakfast review took us to Alden, NY. Kind of a drive, to Marie’s Family Diner. Alden is a cute little town and you can tell that the diner used to be a bar. A friendly vibe hits you as soon as you walk through the door. The coffee was hot and delicious. Our waitress Ashley was the bomb. Friendly, funny and efficient. Breakfast was AMAZING! We had a difficult choice, the menu is extensive and we all wanted to order 5 different things. I ended up withe a HUGE Bacon Cheeseburger Omlette and hash browns and a side of the BEST Homemade Corned beef hash EVER! Ken had some Egg Nest thing with smoked Polish Sausage. Stephie had Eggs and Homemade hash, she loved it too! Ken paid for a Veterans breakfast and they let us hang an Alex event poster. This breakfast was NOT 5 ⭐️s. It was 10 ⭐️s !!! You HAVE to eat here !! They also have authentic German and Polish food nights during the month. Check their FB page for dates. This was the BEST breakfast since we started doing this. “I ordered take away lunch today for Mother's Day because all I wanted was their delicious turkey club and fries. I had a special request that was delivered above and beyond and it made my day. As I was paying I was asked and handed a beautiful little potted marigold and I just want to say this was one of the best experiences I have ever had a restaurant before. My lunch is delicious and perfect and my word the staff at WAK are always perfectly sweet and wonderful. I cannot thank you enough for making my day so special ❤️ Happy Mother's Day“
