“Great food good beer I really like this place. Nice inside and even can go outside. If you are ever in the Ravena Selkirk area this is definitely a place you should give a try to! Lunch dinner and beers! What more could you ask for, am I right? Of course I'm right because I'm the man! Ha! Excellent. “Hubby and I stopped in on a Thursday evening around 9pm and it was quite the lively crowd - not overly crowded where you couldn't move but busy enough for a full bar and standing. We grabbed a table and were confused whether it was table service or not (it is) and settled on wonton nachos as a starter. These were amazing and had the right amount of crunch. I just wish the jalapeños were actually spicy. I liked how the wonton didn't get too soggy and held the toppings. The state burger was cooked to perfection (medium rare) and very well seasoned. The pickles tasted fresh and the crispy onions added just the right amount of texture for a perfect burger. I was really in the mood for spice and the waitress was kind enough to offer a mango habanero sauce on the side (it really was spicy). She was super sweet but it was hard to get service because she was also working behind the bar. Took awhile to get the check but nonetheless, the food was worth the wait.“
“Normally the food is 5 star excellent; however, this last visit wasn't. It took a long time to get our entrees and the fries were over cooked in the warmer. Plus, my shrimp was cooked on a dirty griddle, all I could taste was burnt ground beef. Might have just been an off night or they lost some good cook staff. Not sure what's up. We will give them another shot because we dig the menu and food. Trivia night is awesome and fun and the wait staff is great. They made sure our drinks were filled and that we were happy. Hope the kitchen shapes up again.“
“We literally stumbled upon here while in Hudson for the weekend, walked by, people looked happy inside. Probably one of the more comical way to describe it. We didn't look anything up, didn't really look at the menu, just watched people exiting laughing happy etc. so we went in.We opted to sit on the bar side at a table, server came right over to greet us, super friendly, we had a few apps, and pasta, it was pasta night special. There were honestly so many good looking things on the menu, comfort food is the best description.Lots of regulars in the bar area it seemed like.“
“We stumbled upon this unique bar when visiting the historic downtown. I promise this is one of the more unique bars you’ll ever go into. It’s attached to an antique store with cool items placed around the bar. Drinks were priced fairly. We are from out of town but ended up talking to the friendly locals after being inside a few minutes. Great place!“
