The fried tilapia was perfectly cooked, and it came with a beet cabbage salad that had the perfect citrusy crunch. Emiliano gave us additional Guatemalan delicacies to try such as chicken relleno. Also get the tres leche. It’s amazing! Too bad I’m in NYC or else I’d come here weekly. I will definitely be back though!“

Jess was prompt and helpful in her communications, giving color and design thoughts for my vague idea of "bears," to help set my order. When I picked up the desserts, everything was packaged so securely I had no concern about getting it home safely. Most importantly, everything tasted and looked absolutely amazing! Everyone kept commenting on how adorable the bear cookies were, and I even got a couple "I'm not usually a cake person but these are delicious" about the cupcakes. “I have been going to the official cake lady now for 10-11 years and about 3-4 times in a year. Kim never ever disappoints. She makes our vision come to life. The cake is so good we drive over an hour to pick it. Kim is always professional and listens to every detail needed for the cake.

“So been here alot before i started writing reviews. In The Summer during the Thornwood car show, my parents and i can be seen eating their italian ices, which are very good. They also have cakes, pastries, and i believe i tasted my first almond horn from here, and it was good! Also once brought a pint to use for my 18th/Graduation party a few years ago. Inside, they do have chairs and tables where one can sit if they want.
Went here on Saturday August 10th 2024 while at the Thornwood car show with my parents. We were there to get italian ices. Staff was pleasant, and asked what we wanted right away. I got a Cotton Candy Italian ice, and my mom got lemon, and my dad got chocolate. We paid with cash, as they charge for using a credit card. Italian ices were very good! as we enjoyed them! We hope to be back soon!“

“I just went to The Great American Cookie at the Palisades Mall and boy was I surprised by my visit. First off, the place was immaculate and even though they were busy, was greeted at immediately by all 4 of the workers (their names were Stephanie, Valerie, Marlene and Jamie). Two of the workers were on their way out and they still took the time to greet and talk to me. I ordered 4 cookies and they offered me a great deal-if I purchased one more they would give me a 6th free! The cookies were fresh, warm and unbelievably delicious. I think these were the best cookies I’ve ever had (especially the Chocolate chip and Lemon ones). They even asked me for my phone number and told me about a great rewards program they have after spending a certain amount. They were so friendly-I’m not used to this type of service from anywhere these days. Go to Great American Cookie next time you are at the Palisades Mall-it’s located on the third floor - just outside Macy’s. You will not be disappointed! Mmmmmmm!!“
