“Around our area there isn't much to offer when it comes to an eatery. Every single time I've gone here I've been treated great, the food has been plentiful and amazing, and I e never had any issues regarding money or a timely wait. When you break it right down this place is great and the employee's are great, and you couldn't ask for much more.“

“Our flight landed early and we were able to get in 30 mins ahead of our reservation! The green goddess shakshouka was AMAZING but the cherry on top was our server Ben! We told him we had just landed and were looking for recommendations on how to spend the day and he gave us a list of food spots to try during our stay. “I have now been here twice and both times were exceptional! We ordered the salmon, toast, green shakshuka and chorizo bowl. The portions were perfect, definitely enough for a hearty breakfast. They also have a cocktail menu. That looks great, lots of unique options! The servers were all kind and attentive. We went on a weekday, so it was not overly busy, but I have been on a weekend and there was a little bit of a wait. On the interior, they do do some communal seating at a large table in the center of the restaurant. There are also private tables and booths inside and outside on the patio. The interior is adorable and it’s such a vibe inside. I would say the only downside about this place is there is only one restroom for the entire restaurant, and there tends to be a line.“

I was in the area and this was the 3rd place I came to; the others were closed (it's a holiday weekend so I understand). The Blue Light Speak Cheesy has a few tables and almost all of them were full. We were able to snag the last available table while I ordered at the counter. I realize they serve different sandwiches on different days of the week (I went on a Sunday) which could motivate people to come back on other days. On the other hand, it could be disappointing if they're not serving what you want on that particular day. Anyway, onto the sandwich! The Burrito Bun Breakfast Sandwich was so well-balanced. From the soft scrambled eggs to the tangy and vibrant red cabbage to the flavor of the pepper jack to the freshness of the spinach and avocado, it was everything you could want in a breakfast sandwich. I think the only thing that would make it better is if it had a layer of crunch (like a hash brown). Nonetheless, it was so filling and hit the spot. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area and I can't wait to come back.“

“Excellent diner good after seeing Hadestown. Service was excellent. Portions are large. Food taste and selection better than expected. We drive 3+ hours one way to see a Broadway show from Vermont so a good, hearty, tasty meal before heading home was greatly appreciated.“

“This is a sweet little breakfast/brunch place in Jersey City. There is a huge wait on saturdays or weekends. They are very busy. The food was really good though. I had a Avocado toast which was nicely prepared and tasted good with chili oil and micro greens. The best thing was the lattle. My partner had hot chocolate with oatmilk which was ok. The service was not so good. They are so busy that they dont even notice that the plates they served had some food spread on it. Though I can ignore some of these, they also tried to rush me out (not by speaking directly but with obvious gestures) so that they can accomodate people in the waitlist which they shouldn’t do.“

The pancakes were very fluffy and fat but held good flavor too. For some reason I just had to try this places chopped cheese (my local bodega stopped selling food and switched to weed) and yea I've had better chopped cheeses but it did scratch that itch when you're craving one. I got the energizer juice also which was on par with others no notes. All in all the place is studry it sells what it's good at and seems to have a following of customers that appreciate that.“

“Omg truly a must do, a very nice , quaint, restaurant in Brooklyn with sooo much flair and flavor. We did breakfast, an omelet with grits and rye toast , my wife had eggs with sausage and potatoes with multi grain toast, both of us had the homemade house hot sauce. Half way thru our meal Nick brought out this behemoth piece of French toast with this amazing maple syrup, JUST WOW The service and atmosphere is very welcoming.All was amazing but if you can only do 1 thing for breakfast definitely do the French toast and sausage. Only downside is how small it is. It's mostly a strictly to-go small restaurant with enough room for 3 to 4 people at a time inside. “I come here when I need work done on my car, since my mechanic is a few blocks away , unfortunately it has been too often. Coming to Breakhouse puts some good vibes Into the trip. I get here early, I love their breakfast selections. The coffee is good but cappuccino is even better. They have a very clean and comfortable bathroom. If I lived closer, I'd be here very often. “This is by far the best IHOP in the area. We cross the GW Bridge from Riverdale to go here, rather than the IHOP a mile away in the Bronx. The brioche is nice, and the they have great and free substitutions such as changing sauce and egg types.There isn't much service, you order yourself and they bring it to the table.The best thing about this place is the atmosphere!
