“I hosted a baby shower at Magruders yesterday and everything was phenomenal! We had beef rollups, and baked chicken, which was beyond delicious!! Along with homemade mashed potatoes, corn, pasta, salad and rolls. Shannon was perfect from helping plan the event to making sure everyone was happy the day of party. If you’re looking for a place to host your next event 10/10 recommend here!! Everyone waved about the event“

“We came in on a busy Friday evening (10/25). The place was packed. We were seated right away and watched as plates were quickly being brought out of the kitchen. Our own food arrived very quick. It was so hot and fresh. I’ve been to other Tully’s locations but have never experienced such quick service with the food still being steaming hot. Our waitress was attentive and kept stopping by to check in on us. We were in and out in under an hour. My husband loved his bacon ranch chicken sandwich and said the macaroni salad was very good. The chicken wing dip and mozzarella sticks are some of our favorite things here.“

“Maybe we were overhyped. Everything I heard and read said this place was legendary. But the menu was limited: beef on Weck and buffalo wings... or if you want a pizza, you can get the same options but on a crust with cheese. Otherwise, fairly standard sports bar apps.
The inside seemed too dark for a lunch, and the 'outside' area with lots of snow was crowded. Service was polite, but slow for such a small menu. We're told the place always gets a wait by noon and yet it takes 25 minutes to get your food even with so few options for entrees seems uncalculated and unnecessarily slow.
Food was good, but I'd say I've had equal quality wings and sauce at a bit fairer price. And the beef on weck seemed on par with Charlie the butcher, but comes with a handful of chips, not fries, at $15 for just the sandwich? I couldn't go 5 stars. Cost of business, I suppose

Parking: Big lot hidden behind the snow bank, but the access wasn't easy to locate.“

“We were looking for the Cycling Frog drinks and they were the closest who carried it. We came to just pick up, not to drink there but it looked like a really cozy and cool place to have a drink. The woman working there was fantastic, we came because it said that they carried a limited seasonal flavor of the drink and they were all out but she was kind enough to go and grab us a single can that they were selling and it was the last one. It looked like it had a good selection of beers too.“

“Easily the best wing spot in Buffalo. The wings are always perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the blue cheese is sweeter than most but not as sweet as rooties. Classic location with the option to take your food to go, and grab a beer from brew works before sitting down at one of the picnic tables outside. Can't go wrong with Bar-“

“My brother was there every day and loved it while he was in town. I joined him a couple of times and enjoyed it myself. Also, it was nice to have a band there too outside on a nice day. I rarely see the owner, but I know she's such a sweetheart. I still owe her Mac salad. I gotta bring it in one of these days. I used to go there all the time daily back in the day. “Came here on a wing night (75 cents per wing - with a minimum of 10 wings). Happily ordered the butter parmesan and although they had a nice selection of sauces, they were kind enough to make the honey barbecue sauce even though it wasn’t a selection. The blue cheese is house made and it’s DIVINE! We dipped our fries in it and were pleasantly happy. We also ordered the caesar salad and again, blown away by the freshness and taste. You won’t be disappointed, NYC native approved.“

“Oh my gosh, so we went out to dinner this evening after going to the movies. We went to Winfield Pub in South Buffalo. All I can say is WOW. My husband saw that it had a 4.7 star rating and we'd never been there. From start to finish it was a wonderful experience. They have several different beers to offer and even some seasonal ones. Their drink menu is extensive but not daunting and their drinks are super creative. For our starters we got the hop fries with a garlic parmesan aioli which regulars call "crack sauce" I can see why....it's SO good! My husband got the Snout and Stout which is their take on french onion soup but with a pork broth and milk stout added to it with pieces of pork in it. We both tried it and that too was truly delicious it was a great spin on a classic dish. For our entrees my husband got the ribeye and I got the bbq mac and cheese. My husband loved his ribeye it was cooked perfectly and the sides were amazing. My mac and cheese was probably one of the best mac and cheeses I've ever had. They added burnt pork ends and blue cheese to it and it adds such a depth of flavor and richness this comfort food feels so fancy. I enjoyed it thoroughly. For dessert we shared a piece of their Guinness cake. Again, it was rich and delicious the frosting wasn't overly sweet. We brought a little bit of everything home and are looking forward to eating the rest of it tomorrow. Our server was absolutely lovely and so kind and funny. The chef at this restaurant is so creative and thoughtful with every aspect of the experience right down to bringing us the bill in a Christmas Card. This place is 5 stars!“

“The food here is tremendous (wings are on par with Bar-Bill and they have a great fish fry), but one word of caution - do not expect to be able to order meat on Friday’s during Lent. Long time regulars are probably well aware of this policy but we were caught a bit off guard. Given that they were absolutely packed with people ordering the fish fry, it makes a lot of sense, just something to be aware of.“

“It was a minute before our waiter came to our table. He apologized straight out which was admirable. Dylan was an amazing server and was very attentive to all our needs. We have been here many times and it has always been a great experience. We started with the Jalapeño mozzarella sticks. Then my wife and I both got chicken sandwiches. I had the Glen falls chicken sandwich which was excellent with a large portion. My wife got the Buffalo Chicken sandwich which she enjoyed. My son had the Main Street burger and my daughter had a kids grill cheese. We were very happy with the food and the excellent service provided by Dylan- he deserves employee of the month!

“The lady bartender said that the reason why it has a dancing tomato on the business sign is because the owner who started the business was nicknamed “Tomato” because he had red hair and freckles and a round face and resembled a Tomato. Very chill atmosphere, very casual and laid back“

“This place was in my hotel, Millennium, and it was a great experience!!! The food was actually tremendous. I had a drink, a shrimp cocktail, a couple of wines and the chicken parm. Everything was great!! My server, Hallie McKinnie, was absolutely the best and nicest server I can ever remember!!! Food, ambiance, service were again, top notch!!! This was better than a lot of restaurants I have eaten at. the shrimp cocktail was the best also!!!! Very cool place. they could up their wine list but that's not a big thing here in Buffalo...... “Hands down amazing food. we stopped in after a long day of shopping and I am so glad we did. the service was great. the food was honest to God phenomenal. so good that we all shared bites to appreciate how yummy our food was. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive and even changed the channel for us on the TV closest to us. The Kobe beef burger was phenomenal! Highly recommend. I do want to try and find just the right combination and they do their double dipped. I think finding just the perfect style to your own makes a huge difference. “TRANSIT ROAD location. Horrible experience. Pizza is not good at all. OVERBAKED, TOO MUCH SAUCE....and we asked for light sauce and light bake! Nachos were good but not good enough to make us return. Manager was told about our pizza and did nothing. Just a crappy meal.“

Way under staffed, and had a party going with only one cool at 2 servers for the whole place. Came up from KY to watch Buffalo and was not even impressed. Don't even have sweet tea. Never going back.“
