Along with homemade mashed potatoes, corn, pasta, salad and rolls. Shannon was perfect from helping plan the event to making sure everyone was happy the day of party. “Lots of options here in terms of beer to purchase in the store to bring home and beers on tap to drink while you’re there. We both got flights and enjoyed them. Seating available at the bar, a few tables inside, and a little bit outside. Great place to stop for a beer especially if waiting for a table next door at Bar Bill!“

Happily ordered the butter parmesan and although they had a nice selection of sauces, they were kind enough to make the honey barbecue sauce even though it wasn’t a selection. The blue cheese is house made and it’s DIVINE! We dipped our fries in it and were pleasantly happy. We also ordered the caesar salad and again, blown away by the freshness and taste. “Oh my gosh, so we went out to dinner this evening after going to the movies. We went to Winfield Pub in South Buffalo. All I can say is WOW. My husband saw that it had a 4.7 star rating and we'd never been there. From start to finish it was a wonderful experience. They have several different beers to offer and even some seasonal ones. Their drink menu is extensive but not daunting and their drinks are super creative. For our starters we got the hop fries with a garlic parmesan aioli which regulars call "crack sauce" I can see why....it's SO good! My husband got the Snout and Stout which is their take on french onion soup but with a pork broth and milk stout added to it with pieces of pork in it. We both tried it and that too was truly delicious it was a great spin on a classic dish. For our entrees my husband got the ribeye and I got the bbq mac and cheese. My husband loved his ribeye it was cooked perfectly and the sides were amazing. My mac and cheese was probably one of the best mac and cheeses I've ever had. They added burnt pork ends and blue cheese to it and it adds such a depth of flavor and richness this comfort food feels so fancy. I enjoyed it thoroughly. For dessert we shared a piece of their Guinness cake. Again, it was rich and delicious the frosting wasn't overly sweet. We brought a little bit of everything home and are looking forward to eating the rest of it tomorrow. Our server was absolutely lovely and so kind and funny. The chef at this restaurant is so creative and thoughtful with every aspect of the experience right down to bringing us the bill in a Christmas Card. This place is 5 stars!“

Long time regulars are probably well aware of this policy but we were caught a bit off guard. Given that they were absolutely packed with people ordering the fish fry, it makes a lot of sense, just something to be aware of.“

“I understand the reputation Elmo’s has when it comes to wings. They were cooked perfectly. Nice and crispy but still sauced just right. I do want to try and find just the right combination and they do their double dipped. I think finding just the perfect style to your own makes a huge difference. Also, not sure what it was, but their 7up was just hitting so tight that night.“
