“I went with a group of friends for my birthday last night. It was AMAZING. The service was great, everyone was so friendly. The place itself was so clean and cute, really cool vibe. The Apps were great, Hush Puppies and Fried Calamari, yum. I did a make-your-own Seafood Boil. OH MY GOD. The New Zealand Mussels, King Crab and Dungeness Crab was out of this world in the Cajun Butter Sauce. I HIGHLY recommend this spot and will be going back.“

“This restaurant is almost a secret. It has a very unassuming facade. Inside it feels like a posh Manhattan eatery in the middle of White Plains. The food is delicious with an elegant presentation. I love that it looks at the fountain on Main Street. So peaceful. Service is also top notch.“

“I attended a surprise party this Saturday evening. The cuisine was preselected, waiter service was excellent, should receive raises. The table arrangement was very poor. The party was downstairs in one of the private rooms. We were 25 people at one very long table, basically the length of the room, which made it difficult for guests to get around the seated persons at the head of the table on either side. Having two tables would have been a better arrangement, but one long table was not conducive for conversation since we were so far from the other end of the table. The food; not many complaints, I really didn’t have a problem. I didn’t have a lot of food, but it was delicious. The dessert, sorry not very good. Those Famous Crepes(palacinkes) sorry not that great. A lot of crepe and not a lot of filling. The dish was served with fruit, unfortunately this fruit was not in season, so the watermelon although it added color to the dish, upon tasting it, left much to be desired. Why not serve fruit that is in season? No offense to my party hosts who selected my menu for the evening, it didn’t lend itself to the 5 Star Reputation of Dubrovnik’s. I would like to make reservations and splurge on a dinner on my own, I have a feeling I would LOVE the experience! Btw, another plus was the parking!“

“This was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. Things were screwed up from beginning to end with absolutely no sense of apology or remorse. We had a 630 reservation, showed up on time, but we weren't seated until almost 7pm. The waiter came to our table for the first time at 720pm. We had researched the menu ahead of time to make sure there were kid friendly options, but since it was Mother's Day, they were operating with a different menu which is totally fine. We asked the waiter if they had any kid friendly food that wasn't on the menu and he said no and that all we can get is what's listed on the menu, so we went ahead and ordered. About 20 mins after we ordered, we saw that the kids at the table next to us were eating chicken fingers and french fries, so we asked the waiter why he didn't tell us about that option. He said that we didn't ask and he got a bit of an attitude about it. Luckily he was able to change our order and the kids got chicken tenders. We waited patiently for an incredibly long time for our food to come out, and at about 830, I got up and asked the waiter for an ETA on the food and he again gave me an attitude like I was ruining his night and he said "soon". The food came out about 2 minutes later, so we were hopefully going to get on with our evening. Upon further inspection, the chicken tenders that they delivered to my daughter were RAW. Not just slightly under cooked, completely raw, pink, cold chicken. We called the waiter over again and he again had an attitude when we sent the food back. Again, not even a hint of an apology to be found. When the chicken came back out, it was completely burnt, but we decided it wasn't worth the time to talk to the waiter about it again. At this point we had been at the restaurant for 2 hours with a 5 and 8 year old kid, so we just wanted to be done and get out. Again, at no point during this experience did a single person offer an apology or even show an ounce of remorse for how terrible the service was. They ruined my wife and mother-in-law's Mother's Day dinner and they should be ashamed to call themselves a restaurant. We are a local family, but we will never go back there again. I will also make it a point to tell everyone I know that Caffe Regatta is a terrible restaurant.“

“Best fried or steamed fish you will ever have from a store front. And seriously maybe the cheapest. My go to is the fried flounder sandwich, $5 today, sometimes $6 cash for two huge pieces depending upon market price. They give you the tarter and lemon and tons of other condiments and spices to put on yourself, just how you like it, before they neatly wrap it up and bag it for you. I always tip them two bucks. Been coming and thankful for them for the last 25 years when they used to be a block south. There are similar looking joints but none nearly as consistently good as Dyre Fish is. I have tried so many, hoping. It is the oil they dont allow to be used too long and the fresh fish picked up daily at Hunts Point Fish Market. And the prices have barely gone up in all that time.“

The menu had a mix of 'latin fusion' dishes, including Latin Sushi and classic Latin dishes from different countries (Cuban, Peruvian, Puerto Rican, Mexican, Dominican). It was a rainy Wednesday night so it wasn't crowded but the ambiance was still good with a mix of Latin and pop music playing in the background noticeable enough to hear if you wanted but not too loud to interfere with conversations. Service was good too. I plan on going again. We didn't get to eat on the patio because of the weather but looked like it would be really nice with good weather.“

“Went for Fathers Day. The Fix Price menu prompted us to order Salads, you got vegetables, and 3 Filet Mignons and a Rib Eye bone in. The House Salad is chopped included vegetables and avacado. It was 6 inches high covering a full dinner plate! The service was consistent of leaving us alone, yet being immediately attentive. Water glasses filled, ample bread filled basket, and changeover between courses properly timed. They had a single desert in the package, however allowed a substitution for ice cream instead. Nice touch.“

My card was charged but the transaction did not go through. I then called and placed the order with intentions to prepay but that was not an option for pick up orders, I was told you have to pay at the store. The staff was kind. However there is NO parking in the area and this was a big negative. Their site offered curbside pickup however there is no standing in front of the business.
