“I’ve never been to this hotel. The swimming hole behind is where you should go. The current at the bottom is not as dangerous as it seems, but don’t attempt to swim if you’re a weak swimmer (for safety).

“First time here and I would def come back again. Service initially was a little slow getting our drink order, but improved throughout our visit, perhaps short staffed. However, overall an excellent place to come to. The atmosphere and food were excellent.“

“Our adult children, from Brooklyn and upstate, and I, were excited to plan a surprise birthday luncheon for their Dad and my husband. The atmosphere was nice enough, and our server, Cat, was outstanding! The drinks were nice but they ran out of a beer we ordered by 1:30 pm on Saturday. Otherwise, aming a party of six, we had 4 beers, 2 Juice Bombs, 2 Health Margaritas, a glass of Chardonnay, and 3 other drinks...a total of 2 drinks per person. To start we ordered a plate of raw oysters and deep fried artichokes. Both choices were fine. We also ordered 3 Salad Nicoises which were a huge disappointment and should have been renamed, A Small Smattering 0f Tiny Greens With A Hint Of Dried Tuna, Whole Intact Garlic Clove, a 3 Discolored Green Beans Marinated in Vinegare with 2 Baby Potatos. If you were envisioning a classic Salad Nicoise, buyer beware. A 3 ounce portion of seared medium rare tuna or oil packed canned tuna, together with hard boiled eggs, Nicoise olives, and tomatoes with vinagrette were missing in action. The salad appeared to have been pepared with an eye to the least amount of preoaration“

Our waiter customized a sandwich on the menu to accommodate my spicy food preference and it was so good! It will be what i order every time i go back! “I always enjoy my food when I order from here! Always a great experience with Maria and Nikki! Always so nice and accommodating, I served tables for 10 + years at a lot of high end restaurants and they are an awesome example of how service should be, However everytime I order something on Sunday evenings the blonde girl and the brunette girl that work there both have terrible attitudes like they both absolutely hate their jobs, I never see either one of them smile , or take any kind of personal approach to their customers at all, which in my opinion as a someone who worked as a server for so long might result in less tips or even a negative vibe between the server and their table… last night I ordered 2 orders of French fries and asked for some plastic silver wear , the brunette girl looked at me and said! “I guess but I don’t really see why” … maybe because I’m a regular paying customer .. but maybe that’s just me… and another time I placed an order with one of the girls , and asked for my total, and had me wait on the phone for over 5 mins for my total while she stopped and ran her food… something that takes 30 secs took 5 mins…in my personal opinion as a server those two ladies show a big lack of professionalism, I do not recommend Sunday nights when these two girls work! But I absolutely love this place when it’s any other day of the week“

“I work for the owner in his other business where he has a daycare for the elderly people and he also offers home healthcare services. I also rent from him-• MY OPINIONS HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH MY PERSONAL LIFE- ITS ALL MY TRUTH AND MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCES •I came in for a job from someone who knows the owner Vitaliy- she lived in one of his apartments years ago and was telling me about how great of a person he is and how he has a few gigs and I’d enjoy working for him. So I went and filled an application out for the Home Health Care Aide and I did my interviews and met with the manager Brooke and started not to soon after- one of the best decisions I’ve ever made was going in and filling the application out - Vitaliy and his managers Brooke and Julie are all the best people to work for! They actually acknowledged me not even a month into working for him about how good I’m doing - that meant everything to me, the fact that they pay attention and care about their employees and clients and also customers is a beautiful rare thing.The restaurant is a very homey place. I’m new and my husband is a veteran and he has a hard time being around people and even he loves it. My kids love going to play ping pong while the adults play pool and listen to music. It’s just an amazing atmosphere with people who make you feel like your family. My family lost everything to hurricane Ian in Florida and had to move back and the employees AND THE CUSTOMERS ( I’m telling you once you meet them and they like you and you them it’s a family - they look out for each other!! ) all rallied up to make sure we have what we needed for our apartment.I am a very outspoken, outgoing, blunt, rare individual and I’m very opinionated- I would not lie to anyone about anything- but I PROMISE you that you will love the Bar/Restaurant and everyone inside it.Thank You to everyone for making us feel welcomed! “Although time has left this place behind inside and out, there’s a certain local feel to this place, as unassuming as its name. I had a great burger—“One-eyed”—a bacon cheese burger topped with a fried egg done over easy. The burger was flame broiled for nice flavor, with real crispy bacon. Fries were hot and crispy. Only the bun was subpar, a bit dry. Prices were decent and good value, though charging nearly $4 for soda was excessive. Service was excellent and friendly. Definitely will return to try other dishes.“

“I was delivering in the area and ordered some food here. I was a little hesitant because of the rating, usually a restaurant in a small town gets great ratings for good food or slammed for bad food. I tried a slice of pizza, wings and fries. The delivery was very fast, driver very kind (he called to say he arrived instead of beating on my truck).

I must say that everything I had was top quality, still hot and priced well. Again I thought for a pizza restaurant they deserved 5 stars!“
