“I've only had a handful of poor experiences here since the day they opened the (original) restaurant. I ordered the tuna sandwich as a melt, never had an issue before. this time, they (Tiffany) told me since I asked for it as a melt it would be $3.75 for a piece of lettuce on it, and another $3.75 for a tomato slice on each half of the melt. Both of which come on the tuna sandwich which is what's on the menu. (One would think they would only charge for the cheese, since it was asked for as a melt) The greek potatoes were over cooked mush, and I ended up taking them home, only to throw them out. Disappointing overall experience.“

We like to stop for breakfast along the way, and it can be difficult to find a place that satisfies the diverse tastes of our group. The Olympic restaurant was chosen because of its location. It turned out to be quite a find. I for example noticed eggs benedict on the menu. I like eggs Benedict Florentine, and so I asked if they had spinach that could put on it and they gave me Eggs Benedict Florentine, which turned out to be absolutely delicious.

The service was wonderful in lots of ways. The place was sparkling clean and had a diner feel to it. We were extremely happy and will be returning there on subsequent trips West from Rochester.“

“After telling my fiance I wanted to go on a date, he picked Nana's in Alden to take me to. We love mediterranean food and let me tell you we were not disappointed!! This place by far is one of the best restaurants we have ever been to. We live about 30 minutes away and drive here almost once a week now. The staff is incredible, too. You can tell the chef is passionate about his food and loves what he does. The food is always fresh and tastes incredible!! Thank you for such a wonderful experience every time“

All three of us commented that we could not remember a time where we had such an attentive server that was also entertaining and gracious. “Akis is a small restaurant with very good food. The only downside for me is, there's only one person taking the orders most of the time. I've had quite a few meals here. I'll be back to try more of the delicious dishes. The pancake is outstanding! The Greek skillet is very filling. The Greek potatoes are hit and miss, meaning they can range from very delicious to I've had better. My daughter had the salmon and said it was really good!“

“Recently found this place and have been twice now. Both times the staff were friendly and food was delicious! The sauces are amazing and I find the food fresh especially the veggies. Some people might say it’s pricey at about $15 a bowl which yeah it isn’t the best but that’s average pricing I feel like plus the serving sizes are big. The first time I ended up with leftovers for the next day and the second time my mom & I split a rice bowl so worth the price in my opinion.“
