“Vast variety of fresh thick and fluffy reasonably priced bagels, spreads and deli. Small lunch counter for enjoying the sites and street sounds. I was traveling so carrying around cream cheese was near impossible but I will definitely be back to try again next trip.“

“The SMB absolutely blew me away. I thought it was a perfect balance of salty, sweet, light kick of spice. The beef was season so perfectly and was soft and tender. The egg was super fluffy and I really enjoyed the kimchi to add another flavor profile. The bagel itself was also delicious - light crunch on the outside but soft and chewy inside. Perfect texture and honestly it was such great value for a huge bagel. The owner gave out free rice balls because the wait was getting long and those were delicious too.“

Their menu is the perfect balance of the classic NYC bagels we know and love, but with some newer flavor combos added to the menu that make eating here both nostalgic and exciting. The Presto Pesto is one of my favorite sandwiches in the city. Make sure you try their chocolate muffins as well. While it can get busy, the staff are friendly and attentive.“

“Yo Alex, you’re the man. You said this chopped cheese was gonna be the best—and you weren’t kidding. This is hands down the best chopped cheese I’ve had on the island without crossing over into Brooklyn.

The staff is super friendly, the whole place feels like home, and Alex himself is a serious jokester. Honestly, the entire experience felt like a Seinfeld episode in the best way possible. And shoutout to the guy behind the stove—you can tell he put real love into that roll.

“The food and service is always on point. I live in Brooklyn but love to stop here whenever I’m in the city or when I’m showing visitors around. I’ve had the avocado toast, the rueben benedict (a must), salmon benedict and the ranchero (brisket dish) and it all hits!! I have yet to try the lunch menu but it’s just the perfect breakfast spot. Coffee is always great too. Just consistently good food and such warm friendly service.“

Best bagels, incredible people, generous friendly caring family people. And a beautiful plant showed up on my last day which was lovely. I’ll definitely be staying in this neighborhood the next time I’m visiting but daily breakfast here just isn’t enough. Not too tick and doughy, crispy on the outside with just enough Whitefish salad, touch of mustard, fresh cucumber & dill with slice of banana peppers. “Everything was delicious. We hosted a Purim breakfast at our temple and everyone was so happy and full. I personally put in the order myself and everything from ordering to delivery was so smooth. We ordered large quantity of variety of bagels with all types of cream cheeses, salmon salad, white fish and tuna. Plus we got crepes with ricotta cheese which were Devine. And we ordered lots of croissants 🥐 , plain and chocolate which by the way are huge. I can’t say enough how fresh and delicious everything was. Highly highly recommend this place!!“
