“I would give 100 stars if I could! I go here at least once a week sometimes more. Such a large variety and excellent quality ingredients! One of my favorites is the turkey cranberry Panini. Where else can you get turkey cooked right there in their own oven. I do not like deli meat, which is one of the reasons why I come here! Everything is so fresh and cooked right there. My husband and I get their salads once a week and this says a lot because my husband is not a salad person. He likes the Italian mix salad because it’s everything he would get on a sub without the bread. I would list everything I like here but this review would be pages long. I read some of these other reviews and wonder what planet these individuals are from because anyone giving a negative review is either at a different place or has nothing else better to do than write fake complaints. During Covid this was the only place I would eat because it was that clean! The owner truly cares as does the entire staff! Aside of excellent quality food, this is the only establishment I know that gives back to the community in every way possible. Keep doing what you’re doing guys! We love you!“

“My wife recently had to go gluten free, and we have been trying to find a good place to easily get breakfast for a date. We happened to find Birch Baked with a Google search and checked it out. We were not disappointed! We each got a breakfast sandwich and a sweet treat (she got a cookie and I got a cider donut). The food was awesome!! If I didn't know everything was gluten free, I would have had no idea. We are definitely coming back to try out other things like their pizza, hot and cold sandwiches, and the owner told us they are starting a dinner night Thursdays and Fridays with lots of great options. Top notch place filling a big need in the area.“

Everyone who works there is friendly and greets you with a smile. Today I ordered a latte and the girl working the counter suggested I try their buttered popcorn flavor if I am feeling adventurous, so I did. So good! I greatly appreciated the suggestion since she could tell I was having a hard time deciding, haha. All in all, definitely recommend this spot.“

“Same day update: adding an additional star - the owner, Rachel, did call almost within moments of leaving this review, leaving a very kind sounding voice-mail about wanting more details / etc! I think that's really great of the business wanting personal feedback. They also sent me a full refund (which they most definitely did not have to do!!!! I was not expecting that / needing or wanting it, so im surprised they did!) So I will add that at least they are trying to take information from this review going forward! Tasting box - weddingMy fiancé and I purchased a tasting box from Coccadotts recently, and to us, it was pretty sub-par to other tasting boxes we've gotten from other bakeries (Coccadotts is our third box)We aren't sure if it's because that's how the tasting boxes are done at coccadotts, but we did put that we wanted cupcakes in our order form, we received small cakes (Which again, is fine, but just wasn't what we were really initially looking for - we wanted cupcakes since we've noticed these do usually taste slightly different, and we like to see how each bakery frosts / decorates them) - but we didn't really knock off any points for that - Cake is cake at the end of the day!The overall cake taste was really good, moist, good flavor! The frosting, however, felt very thick/heavy and really grainy to us, was not my most favorite. The cakes themselves had frosting writing on them, so we knew which was which [flavor wise]. However, the box also came with little containers - of what? no clue. I wasn't sure if they were fillings, other frostings? Other cake tasting boxes we've gotten, it had a printed-out form of what exactly was inside (cake flavor, frosting, fillings, etc) , which made it a whole lot easier.Something we really were not impressed with at all - When we put our order in, I was e-mailed a couple of times afterward about payment... I paid immediately after I got the first e-mail (shortly after I put my order in) about how to pay for our tasting box and sent a confirmation of it the same day. I then got e-mailed twice after this, basically about "making sure to pay."I understand places of business need payment, this is how they continue to run and stay open. But this felt so impersonal to me.... If I'm going to be e-mailed, I would rather it be a check-in on what we thought of the cakes. One email we received; the first whole sentence didn't even make sense.... It was subjected to the email was "How was your order?" but then the body of the email only talks about payment, stating (this is the entire email body) - "You should have received your total and processed the payment for your upcoming order with us. If you haven't, please check your spam folder and contact us to process payment. All orders must be paid for 24 hours after ordering or will be cancelled." - When I I had already paid..... Just felt very "We only care about money" to me...Additionally, I accidentally put the order in for the wrong day. When I arrived to pick up our tasting box, it wasn't finished because I made a mistake. I asked if they could accommodate for my mistake, they couldn't (which was totally okay, I did not expect them to!)  I very politely apologized and said that I was totally fine with coming back for the order date I put - I 100% was not upset at all, it was my goof and didn't blame them for that. The younger woman at the counter was VERY nice, felt super bad (even though it was not her fault at all!) however, another woman came out from the back, too - Immediately seemed annoyed we even asked, barely talked to us, and gave us kind of an attitude about it - I wasn't expecting them to accommodate my mistake and I certainty was 100% okay with coming back in a week. Just felt very uninviting to me.Overall, I just did not get a great vibe... Their cake IS good. Their frosting is okay, but the multiple e-mails all about payment just really didn't sit well with me, and the overall friendliness “

“About 18% of the world's population lives in China while the U.S. has approximately 4.5% of the population. I've tended to think of Chinese cuisine as a monolithic entity rather than a dynamic mix of regional cuisines. I've been trying to address my ignorance by eating at Chinese restaurants that advertise their regionality. Hong Kong Bakery & Bistro is Cantonese/Guangdong. From my very limited research, the cuisine is light and mild, steamed rather than stir fried. This is certainly a simplification but it is a starting point. One of the more famous dishes from the region is dim sum. Dim sum means "touch the heart". They are small steamed or fried savory items, snacks. These are the items I focused on during my visits to the bakery/bistro. Each item was different enough from the other to make for a pleasant and satisfying meal. Steamed dishes - beef ball with bean curd skin, shrimp with spinach dumpling, roast duck dumpling, rice rolls with roast duck. Fried dishes included deep fried pork dumpling and fried shrimp ball. Most of the rolls were made with glutinous rice of varying thickness or cornstarch, either steamed or deep fried. The sauces were also wide-ranging, savory to sweet, and added much to the meal. What I didn't know - dim sum is usually accompanied with tea. I can see how that can elevate the experience. Since it is a bakery, I also tried some of those items. Custard buns, coconut custard buns, coconut pudding, dried pork buns, and even tiramisu were tested. Some notes - The dried pork buns added pork floss (dried pork manipulated to the texture of rough cotton candy) to the outside of the bun. Coconut pudding - subtle fragrance and flavor of coconut coagulated with agar agar as the gelling agent. It's more "bouncy" than jello - not my favorite. I think some of the baked items were bought from a wholesaler - there's a whole lot there. The most underwhelming item was the tiramisu. Well, who gets tiramisu at a Cantonese place? I guess I do. This taught me a lesson as this item seemed to have languished in the display case for a bit longer than it should. Overall, it's a really good place to try different dim sum. A word of warning - Italian desserts might be saved for another place.“
