Husband and I are repeat customers to Roots. We LOVE their unusual dishes and home made soups. Tonight I very much enjoyed the lobster Mac n ‘ cheese. A recommendation from owners daughter Ayla. Roots Cafe & Giftique is a cute and quaint spot that offers deliciously simple and fresh food. The all-day breakfast menu, including avocado toast with eggs and bacon, is a standout. The menu is diverse, with options for those who are vegan or have dietary restrictions. The staff is friendly, accommodating, attentive, and fun, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The cafe also features a beautiful gift shop with a gourmet candy section and great baked goods to take out, perfect for finding unique gifts. While the parking situation can be tricky, overall, it is a lovely place to enjoy a memorable meal, relax with a comforting bowl of French Onion soup or a ham egg n cheese on rye bread, and browse the charming store.
