“Pretty typical neighborhood bar — pool table, dartboard, and a big food menu with all the usual favorites. I came in for the wings special I saw online, but it turns out the menu I found was about nine months old. Instead, it was Taco Tuesday. The tacos were good, not amazing, but definitely decent bar food.

The bartender/server was super friendly and kept things moving even though she seemed to be handling most of the bar on her own. The wings looked great when I saw a few orders come out — and apparently, they’re only 50¢ each on Wednesdays from 7pm to close, so I might have to come back to try them then.

Food was ok definitely rushed or new chef my brother has been here before and said food didn’t look like this before.

“Excellent coffee shop on Long Island, come for the caffeine and stay for the community. We stopped by my mom’s favorite coffee shop mid-afternoon, because the family was trying to kill me with caffeine deprivation. The oat milk latte was carefully made and smooth and easy to drink. The interior is great, for a brief moment in time you are anywhere in the World with roll up garage doors, fooseball and a clean setting for evening entertainment. I’ll be back next time I’m visiting!“

“My best friend lives in Queens so she and I come to the Onion Tree every other Friday night. I wish this place was closer to me. I live in Yonkers. The food is superb, seasoned extraordinarily. The chicken is fresh, soft and cut into small bites. I always order chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, or chicken tikka pizza. I have never had food that I enjoyed this much and I have tried all foods all over the world. I never get tired of this place. And the food is served quickly and piping hot. They’re opening a second place in Manhattan. We’re getting closer to Yonkers!! The drinks are awesome too. Barbra and Louis work behind the bar. They’re friendly and great bartenders.“

“We were looking for somewhere to grab a bite to eat before going to a lecture at the Merrick Public Library. The photos of the food looked fabulous, so we decided to give Bourbon & Brews a try. We were greeted by Will, who rocks, offering happy hour specials and cocktails in a pint glass. Burgers were great, and the nachos were superior. Definitely will be back!“
