“We certainly picked the right caterer for our backyard wedding. From the beginning of planning the menu to the event everything was perfect. Danielle was amazing to work with planning the menu to suit our budget. Making adjustments as needed. Joe and Danielle came out the week before to view the site and give advice on how to set things up. The day of the event they were amazing. Came in took charge and handled everything so I could enjoy the day. The food and staff were amazing. I got complements on everything!!!! The event was everything we imagined and more!“

“We used Carolyn's Kitchen for our baby shower last weekend and the food was very tasty. Carolyn had good communication leading up to the event and worked with us to make a custom menu. On the day of the event she arrived a little late for set up, but the guests didn't notice. Her and her son were kind and served our guests buffet style. We would definitely use her catering services again. We ordered rasta pasta, wings (jerk and lemon pepper), Mac and cheese egg rolls, plantain cups (vegan), and garden salad. Carolyn and her son packed up the food and then laid out the dessert cups: peach cobbler and banana pudding. My husband is still talking about the peach cobbler. Everything was delicious!“

“THE Royalton Mansion-- If I could rate them 10 stars I would! The best kept secret on Long Island. The most beautiful venue with such a care for detail with the best bang for your buck with pricing. From the day we had our first meeting with the Royalton they have been fantastic and after my Husband and I walked in the first time we knew it was where we were supposed to be married. Mike T and his entire staff were perfect. Their attention to detail is unmatched. Mike T told me we didn’t need a wedding planner or coordinator with them and he was right. He took his role above and beyond! Every question and pre-wedding concern I had was answered quickly and ever worry I had they calmed my fear. The food was amazing and every aspect of the menu completely customizable. We had so many dietary restrictions and Mike was able to accommodate everyone without any issues. The grounds are beautiful both inside and outside. We planned for our ceremony to be in their beautiful garden but unfortunately mother nature had other plans and the move to inside was still as beautiful. Our family and friends are still raving about how beautiful it was, how amazing the food was and how the staff were phenomenal. Michelle, the bridal attendant was also phenomenal and helped the day run so smoothly! We had an unfortunate incident thar required a guest to be removed from the wedding. The professionalism and approach that Mike T took to handle the situation was perfect to the point that I had no idea of the circumstance and to those involved were blown away on how well it was handled by himself and staff and to ensure all our guests were safe as well. I can not recommend The Royalton enough.“

The maitre d’ took care of my wife and I , so well made sure everything was done on time and made sure the food came out on time and made sure her dress was perfect and also made sure we both ate and drank a lot of water. It was perfect and helped us so much and the food was amazing. All my guest were commenting on how good the food was. This place is like a mini Zabar's with an Italian focus, not a restaurant. While the grocery selection is limited, I have enjoyed many items from the prepared food section, from turkey, to lasagna, to cooked vegetables. Everything tasted fresh and had a nice flavor. There are also pre-made salads, but I prefer the prepared food choices. I plan to continue to shop here.“

“This store has been our favorite family store for years, ever since my firstborn was a toddler (and now he’s over 10!). This place is like a mini amusement park for kids. There are buttons to press, characters to wave to, music, animatronics: it keeps them entertained while I try to get some shopping done.

We especially love their seasonal events. Around Halloween, they always have cute themed setups and candy stops for the kids, which makes every visit feel like a little adventure. And let’s not forget the ice cream: honestly, that’s our main reason for coming sometimes! The vanilla is a classic, and the rewards program lets you collect points for free coffee or a sweet treat, which is a total mom-win after a long day.

While I don’t do my main grocery haul here (they don’t carry everything), it’s an easy, enjoyable shopping trip, low-stress and family-friendly. Their sushi is surprisingly decent and made fresh on-site. They also have a hot food bar, some items are hit or miss for my taste, but the soups are consistently good.

We’ve also enjoyed the lobster rolls and the fun weekend BBQ setup outside in the summer - burgers and hot dogs fresh off the grill, which adds to the experience.

The staff is always friendly, and the whole store just has a warm, welcoming vibe. If you’re a parent on Long Island, this is definitely a spot to check out (especially if your kids are cranky and you need coffee and entertainment in one place!).“

That made me feel really happy. Now to the food! Came for the Taco Tuesday Special and so happy we did. We came very late in the evening so we missed the jerk chicken tacos though I was not disappointed in the jerk beef tacos. Such a great deal and it was delicious. These were the full size tacos, not the minis. Run don’t walk as I’m sure this deal wont last. We also ordered the fried fish and grits , we paid for extra for more fish and so goad we did. I didn’t expect a carribean place to be my new go to fish spot but here we are! We ordered the collard greens which were a little different than the southern style I’m accustomed to though had a spice to kick it up.

Friendly staff and very welcoming. They offered us samples of their new fresh made sea moss which was delicious and we grabbed more to take home.
