We Left East Norwich 20 months ago to be closer to family. Really missed “Our Favorite Personal Deli” and Keith’s great staff - you can bet we will be back for several breakfasts and lunches during our 5 day vacation“

Wanted egg sandwiches at 2 30 in the afternoon and both bagel works and village bagel told me they can't cook eggs anymore they have cleaned the griddle already which just seems ridiculous to me you cant scramble eggs and put them on a roll?? I tried multiple delis in the area and was so disappointed in every experience I had. My new lady friend suggested this small deli up the road called bay deli. I was reluctant to give another deli a try in this area but let me tell you. I was so surprised at the price of my egg sandwich amongst everything going up these prices were fairly priced and the service was fast and friendly and it was the best egg sandwich I’ve probably ever had. “Around 1970 or so, there were two delis on Jericho Turnpike, Johnny’s and Werner’s. (honorable mention to Ardito’s, which is still there and apparently still owned by the Ardito’s). I noticed Werner’s was still there. Werner must be about 100 years old by now. When I checked it out I learned Werner’s isn’t really Werner’s anymore. I read a review that said the new owners would have made Werner proud. I have to agree. A little less emphasis on salads and catering, but great selection of specialty sandwiches, excellent fresh bread and rolls, and fair prices.“

There french fries are delicious I didn't need any ketchup. The quality of the food is great as well as the portions. I find the staff to be very friendly.
